Loved this little Mexican restaurant. From the lady making the tortillas in the dining room to the freshly made guacamole Burrito Vaquero brings their A game to Mexican cuisine. The chips and salsa were delicious but try to save room for your entree because the serving sizes are plentiful. The menu is vast with a wide array of offerings including a vegetarian section.
The food was excellent. The service was friendly and fast. We ate inside, and it was a little warm. We moved to the other side where the air conditioning was located, and that fixed it. The place is small, but they have a few tables outside. Portions were big, and the beans and rice were great. I had the chicken enchilada and Taco combo.
Wow! This place left me speechless! They had fresh made tortillas brought to the table for eating. By fresh made, I mean there's a wonderful lady standing in the corner making them, cooking them and bringing them to your table! 🤯 SOOOO GOOD! The flavor of the food is perfectly seasoned and left me wanting more when my stomach told me I shouldn't. Would absolutely come back again and saved it to make sure I don't forget the name. The staff is nothing short of friendly! 10/10
The short of it… This place is AMAZING. More details? The flavors were fantastic. The staff was exceptionally attentive. Even the ambiance was well put together. As we sat, they quickly checked on us, and served the traditional chips and salsa. Which on their own had good flavor. I asked for a bean dip and they happily supplied it. We didn’t wait very long for the food. My wife and I split a dish, which was a good thing as there was a lot of food. Even my son who doesn’t experiment much enjoyed his tacos. My only criticism is the size. They crammed so many tables in the room, it’s unlikely you would be able to fill all of the tables without bumping your neighbors. However, I hope they do really well so they can expand. You won’t be disappointed.
Had visited this place after reading other good reviews. We were welcomed by multiple staff, very friendly approach! Served initially with tortilla chips and water. Menu is extensive and so the drink menu! We got recommendations, but went with own choices. Margaritas very well done! Dishes were one of the best I have ever had! Hoping in future to stop by again if having a chance! Absolutely satisfied!
I come here every time I visit Roseburg, usually a couple of times. I love the food and the service is always fast, the staff always friendly. The dining room has great ambiance, but seating can be a little tight. I highly recommend the molcajete, among the best I've had.
I had a crunchy shell carnitas taco and chicken. Hubby had the soft tacos. Added beans and it was a WHOLE plate! Seasoned well, no AC inside so we opted to sit outside. Great in the shade.
Not your run of the mill Mexican food. This place is awesome! I have eaten here twice, and both times were fantastic. They come and make fresh guacamole right at your table. It's some of the best I've had anywhere. Salsa is great, and the service (especially Jesus) is next level. Here is where things get exciting! If you like seafood, you must try their Ceviché. It is absolutely perfect! Shrimp, fish, tomatoes, avocado, and red onion, diced and tossed in garlic, lime, cilantro, and peppers with a pinch of salt. Some of the best Ceviché I've had the pleasure to try. 10/10 would recommend. I will be back time and time again.
