I love burger king but this one was disapointing. I give this burger king a 2 due to how I saw the manager treating the cashier very badly infront of customers right when I walked in. Then I try to order their speacial teri whopper which advertisment is right when you enter. And they tell me it won't have sauce cause their out. When I was unhappy they told me I need to understand because they are moving locations. So I suggested that they should remove the sign due to that and I just got total attitude. Then to make it worst my fries were old. Idk but I only give the extra star due to the cashier was very underdtanding, apologetic, and kind. But the rest of this experiance was unpleasant.

Burger King has not been among my first or even second choices in years since they did away with their chicken parmesan sandwich. The menu items are ridiculously pricey with detractions that balance out its positives offering no real value to the consumer. First the pros. Their patties are tastier than their fast food counterparts, they offer onion rings that actually taste decent, and they are (as far as I know) the only fast food restaurant in Kahului that offers orange soda from their soda fountain. Now the cons. The buns they use are incredibly dry and crusty. No other fast food restaurant offers buns that make me feel like the saliva is being sucked from my mouth with every bite. Their fries are among the worst of the big fast food chains being neither exceptionally crispy or tasty. You could make some fries at home of similara quality without temperature controlled deep fryers. And finally, most egregious of all, is the price point. A Bacon King Jr. meal is $9.29 for what is essentially a cheeseburger with BBQ sauce. The sauce isn't even appetizing so I always order the bacon king without the sauce. The meal comes with a small fries and small drink. For comparison's sake, a bacon McDouble from McDonald's is $2.50, a large fries is $2.59, and a large drink is $1. You're getting a similar quality sandwich with twice the fries and twice the drink for almost $3 less. There is a clear problem here. There are two saving graces for BK though. The first is their nuggets which they offer 10 for $2.49 in line with McDonald's $5 20 piece nuggets meal. You could argue their nuggets (or at least their nugget sauce) is of better quality than McDonald's. The second is their "King Meal Deal" which is advertised on their menu board in the tiniest section written in the finest print. It is $6.49 for a Chicken Jr. and a cheeseburger with fries and a drink. Almost twice the price of the same deal on the mainland, but still much more reasonable than the $9.29 for the single Bacon King Jr. The sandwich combo is akin to the popular "McGB" that my coworkers and I used to eat years ago when we worked right down the street from McDonald's. It would consist of a McChicken with no lettuce sandwiched between a plain cheeseburger. The same can be done with this king meal deal. You would still get more from the McDonald's equivalent for a similar cost (McChicken, cheeseburger, large fries and a drink would be $6.59 vs BK's $6.49) but the biggest difference is that BK offers you the option to get onion rings instead of fries, potentially allowing you to add some processed onions into your burger for no additional cost. A decent deal, but still not enough for me. All in all, Burger King is just way too expensive for what you get. All of their niche items that I used to come in to order have been taken off the menu (cheesy tots and chicken parmesan) so now, there's just nothing on their menu to genuinely stand out. Funny enough, the most iconic part of Burger King here is the price. You're paying sit-in restaurant price for drive-thru restaurant food and service. The only times I ever find myself eating at BK are when it is just too much of a pain to take the detour to head to McDonald's from First Hawaiian Bank or Maui Marketplace.

Burger King on Dairy road . Staff members need to be more friendly. Have gone there 3x and service sucks. I stood at the counter for 2 minutes waiting to ask for a bag. Two other employees noticed me standing there yet did not inform anyone that a customer was at the counter.

Offer vegetarian burger... yay! And their fries are actually pretty good at this location! Pleasantly surprised at both... They should maintain their restrooms better... but overall pretty good! Food 4 Service 4 Decor & Ambiance 3 (restrooms...) Cleanliness 3

This particular Burger King has outstanding service, hot food and always clean. Been to the other store in Kahului, and it can't touch the one in Maui Market Place. Store manager is always on top of things, so always a pleasure to eat there!

Whopper made incorrect and the next one came back incorrect too. Another customer came in from the drive thru complaining about incorrect change and instead of checking her register she just argued with the man. He didn't appear to be someone who was looking to scam. Staff not courteous

Great French Fries. Very tasty Terri Whopper. Awesome cook, James. Should get a raise. Prices are right. Friendly and helpful staff.

The burger was horrible and the bun tasted stale. The double checked if I wanted fries or onion rings I said fries and they still gave me onion rings!
