Service was outstanding, portion size was okay but the restaurant was cold. Even the staff complained how cold it was. We had the lunch turkey which tasted fine but the dinner rolls we hard and cold.
Waitress was very attentive & understanding to deal with my Alzheimer's parent. Wish there was a handicap entrance. Cute merch
I love going to Bob Evans when I'm on the road. It's a nice choice, for real, home-cooked food and very inexpensive. Service is normally quick and servers are always friendly! Just a really good chain restaurant, In my opinion!
Everything was super good.. We were greeted and seated right away. Food came out nice and hot, and delicious.. Had the steak dinner, medium, cooked perfect. My wife and mother in law had the pot roast. They both said 2 thumbs up. And the banana bread that came with the dinner was to die for. Got 2 loafs of banana bread to go. Looking forward to having breakfast here next week.. Recommend you ignore some of the bad reviews and definitely give this place a try !
Visited this restaurant for the first time. I ordered sweet tea, but had to switch because it was extremely watered down. I was disappointed because I just knew that the tea would be better being a "country-style" restaurant. I ordered the half pot roast melt with the grilled chicken cranberry salad, which was delicious! The sandwich came with a small bowl of flavorful gravy for dipping. The salad was fresh and delicious. Our server was friendly but seemed overwhelmed with the number of customers she had to serve on her own. The atmosphere was quaint and quiet enough to hold a decent conversation at our table. We did have to wait for the hostess to ring up several customers leaving before being seated, about 4-5 minutes. On our way out to pay, we again had to wait for someone to come check us out. This location seemed to have a staff shortage for the level of business that day.
Although it was busy, with the right help any business should perform with some type of excellence. However that wasn't the case here. The pancakes were hard, the eggs were like rubber and the home fries were burnt and black looking. Everyone in my party, their food was disgusting. It's sad when a business can't hold their own. They should take a closer look at their operation of business and food quality being served to their customers. No should ever take things for granite, just because they're a well known establishment. History will tell you that. So sad!
The food was good, typical Bob Evans, clean and quaint.. The service was horrible, the hostess was nowhere to be found, a waitress finally noticed us and sat us down. The same when checking out, stood there 10 minutes while one lady was messing with a machine, oblivious that w guy in a wheelchair as well as me and my fiance were trying to pay... Mind you there were only 4 customers in the restaurant...
Nice clean establishment. Ordered breakfast food. Clean and organized. Pricing was reasonable. Food was cooked right and tasted good. Staff was friendly and served us well. Bathrooms were clean. My breakfast steak was a good choice though I would probably not order the toast next time. Great breakfast joint to put on your list.
