My husband and I are OTR truck drivers, and we drive by Bob Evan's farms ALL THE TIME...we dont always have time to stop...so today we did, and this was MY FIRST TIME to eat at Bob Evans.. i was SO EXCITED!!...We had a GREAT EXPERIENCE!! From the time we were greeted, the young manager that sat us was super welcoming and friendly...the waitress was so nice and very prompt and funny, making a joke about the salad dressing (Italian) going to one of us! And...the food....OMG...SO AMAZING!! I AM HOOKED!! WE WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK!!

This a great, well priced diner. Service is great. These places should be everywhere.

At one time this was our go to of BEs. But our last few visits have changed that. After this last visit, I've decided we're not going back. There were only two waitresses working the entire floor, so we waited quite a while on every aspect, not to mention never seeing ours again after we ordered. So there were no refills on coffee or drinks. Then the meal.... My wife's chicken tenders were oozing grease and were so rubbery she could hardly bite thru them. She gave up after one and half of the three and pushed her plate away. My western omelet was nearly floating in a puddle of grease/juice from vegetable mix. I had to scoop my home fries onto a separate plate to keep them from getting soggy and then pour the greasy mixture onto another plate. My grand daughter received the wrong sides with her meal, so she had to wait even longer. I'm saddened that this has happened because I really loved this location and have many sentimental reasons for visiting all these years. This however does not out weigh the decline of quality received over the past few months. Good bye old friend.

We've stopped here before & it wasn't the best. It had been awhile so we thought we would try again. Well, it will be awhile before we go back. They just can't seem to get it together. Food wasn't hot when it arrived...half the order was wrong. They weren't very busy at the time we were there. The remaining order was slow to get to the table too. Server was very polite.

Good food. Good service. Easy off and back on to US 30.

Worst Bob Evans experience ever! I would never go to Bob Evans in Upper Sandusky Ohio. I ordered two piece fried chicken, broccoli and Mac and cheese. Chicken was fine, the broccoli was ROTTEN. I MEAN THERE IS NO MISTAKE TO BE MADE. some black and the other parts yellow and flimsy and it stunk.. The Mac and cheese came out a lot later, I was waiting for them to make it. It came out steaming on one side and stone cold on the other. I did speak to the manager about the two, she said she knew the broccoli was bad. I had no words how someone could serve rotten food and know about it. She blamed it all on the new cooks. Terrible management. The county Board of health has been notified.

This was a classic case of, “you never know what your table is there dining for”. We drove 2 hours so my mother could meet her daughter for the first time. We had two tables and stayed there for about two hours. Our server looked annoyed and for the last hour or so, didn’t come to check on us or bus our table. She just dropped off our check and we never saw her again. My family is in the restaurant industry and while we do not make it a point to complain, this was the biggest day in our family and we just wish our server could have added to the beauty, instead of take from it.

Thought I'd get a half-way decent breakfast while I was on the road, and I hadn't been to a Bob Evans in a long time. The service was lackluster. There was a distinct difference between my service and that of the regular customers. I got my order taken, and food served without incident. It wasn't really until my server brought me the check that she checked on me, even though it wasn't very busy at that point. The regulars were almost fawned over, getting much better and more attentive service. This brings me to the food. I had a French toast combo, and the French toast was good. I ordered scrambled eggs with cheese to go with it, and I got it, along with a hair melted into the cheese. I really don't care to make a fuss when I go out to eat, but you could tell the hair hadn't just fallen onto the plate in transit. It had sat there long enough for the cheese to melt over it. I told the server, and she had another plate of eggs made, which I asked for to go because I was trying to get back on the road. She might not have heard me, because she brought the new eggs out on a regular plate. Overall, I was disappointed that my experience wasn't as good as I had hoped.
