We are road tripping and had visited a Bob Evans a few years back and enjoyed it and decided to try again. From walkin, we felt as if we were interrupting the employee's storyline or group breaktime. Food was overcooked, potatoes seared black and burned. The All American BLT bread was toasted to crouton texture, the kind that cuts your lips in the corners when you try to eat it. No refills on drinks. Story time for employees stayed in effect the wholentime we were there, that was entertaining so I added a star on the atmosphere section above. They were a happy bunch, there's that. At least you had a pleasant face when they came to your table to.drop off your food, realy the only time you saw them. And I'm all for chatting in the workplace when work is done...but it wasn't. Tables that were dirty when we sat down were STILL dirty when we left. NOW they were not busy at all, but when they do get busy this crew would never be able to hang. Additional entertainment was provided by the couple sitting behind us when they asked the waitress what 30 meals are under 8.99 and she said they are flagged on the menu independently, they are just spread out randomly for you to find. Considering everywhere you looked in the restaurant they advertised how they had 30 under 8.99 - they may want to consider listing them out together. Or educating the wait staff which meals are part of that promotion so they can help customers that ask about it. In this particular case, it was an elderly couple asking.
My Family decided to eat at this Bob Evans restaurant today. We had a nice experience here. Our hostess was very nice and took good care of us by giving us our food. Very tasty. We had a pleasant experience today and look forward to our next visist.
On a little date night weekend getaway we stopped in for brunch before heading back north to home, we were seated immediately and had drinks within a minute. We placed our order and was eating within 15 minutes. Our server Hailee was very helpful and attentive never allowing our drinks to become empty before bringing us fresh ones and check that our meal was to our satisfaction several times. Everything was wonderful and my eggs were cooked perfectly over easy as requested. All of our food tasted fresh and arrived hot we could not have had a better experience. We will definitely be back our next trip!
Seated us and we waited and waited and waited. Come to find out the server was not at work yet. So rhe seated us in an area with no server. She arrived and when she cam to our table we questioned the dealay and she stated that she just arrived at work. Waiting on us did not get any better coffee went empty food was just ok. Will not be back.
The service was great except she seemed rushed! The food tasted good! I recommend the ice coffee and the south western omelet!

Stopped here during my drive to DC. Food was good, place was very clean, and the people who work there are very friendly and nice and now they know their jobs. It is by far the best Bob Evans I have ever visited.
I went here a server, young lady with blonde hair n glasses saw us, we thought she would greet us when she came back around! Nope, she proceeded to go behind the counter and stand, we still continued to wait patiently! A tall, thin young man with short, dark hair n facial hair walked in, looked at us n continued to the back! As a food server myself, I walked out n came to Cracker Barrel!
