It's been some t I me since I gave eaten at Bob Evans. I took my 3 year old daughter there for breakfast and it was her first time there. She had a great time interacting with our waitress who was awesome with her. And the piggy pancakes added to her having a awesome breakfast...definitely had a good experience.
The waitress was super nice but didn't put in order right and forgot the rest of my children's meals my meal was not cooked all the way and the manager lindsey was the rudest manager I've ever met I tried to tell her what all was wrong and she wouldn't even let me finish talking before she said that she wasn't going to argue with me and that it had been a long day I understand having a long day I work 12 hours a day everyday and all I wanted to do was treat my family to a decent meal together I told her that we would not be coming there again and she rudely told me that was my choice what a joke
Better this time around. Quick service on a holiday weekend and seeing new faces. Good to see the management took time to reevaluate their staff and get friendly people in there. We ordered 2 Turkey plates and our daughter had breakfast. All in our party were very pleased! Quick edit 07.30.21 visited again with my daughter's and Jenny waited on us. Absolutely fabulous service and everything was made very well, tasty and served with a smile. Ty Jenny and team for another good experience! I highly recommend their tasty omelets (I get mine with egg whites) and pancakes with fresh strawberries. For those who enjoy it... they heat up their maple syrup too! Yummy! I also love the option of adding a tip by percentage option at checkout! Nice and convenient
Atmosphere... I was there with my Best Friend and He's also my boyfriend. Boyfriend sounds kind of silly at almost 50, but, it's a newer relationship - I'd prefer to say Husband. 😉 Anyhow - our waitress was young, but has a future in customer service. She was efficient and very friendly. Food was great. Clean and open restaurant. It's a smaller location - but- we'd go again. Sorry, didn't take pics of food. I had a Half order of double blueberry hotcakes and a side of bacon. No syrup or whipped cream added, and it was Delicious. I was stuffed with about half a plate left.
We are from out of country but visit Muskegon yearly. Met some family members for dinner at this location. We usually go to the location on Apple Ave. The waitress was very slow at taking our order. When she came with the drinks she passed each drink down the table from one end. We had two tables pushed together for six people. It was very scary when she was passing a cup of coffee passed two others instead of walking around the table and setting the cup and or drink mugs down at the appropriate person. She did the same thing with the hot meals. We never got refills on our drinks, had to ask for the check and plates where not taken away. She brought the meals out and we never saw her again. This is not how you waitress. Very unprofessional and needs a lot more training. And no the dining room was not full. Hopefully things improve for her and she becomes a much more attentive waitress.
Not a good experience, potatoes were cold and hard, and eggs were not cooked completely, scrambled eggs should not be runny, also my daughter ordered fresh fruit as it says on the menu as a side and received rotten grapes as "fresh", (see photo) they did take one of the meals off the bill for the issues but seriously, how hard is it to check the food to make sure this doesn't happen. They were not that busy as half the restaurant was empty so if it was packed and crazy busy I could have understood but it wasn't. We will not be returning to this location which is sad as it used to be a family favorite about 2 years ago.
I wish I could give my visit a higher rating but unfortunately I was not satisfied with our service. The food was great but the overall service could have been better, never checked on us after we got our food, never got another refill, did not take our dirty dishes when we were finished. A table across from us sat dirty for our entire visit, not super impressed.
This might be one of my favorite restaurants. I really liked the atmosphere of this place. Food was delicious. - review by my 8 year old. ☺️
