This was a tough visit. Sunday morning about 11. There were 7 of us. After about a 20 minute wait in the lobby they seated us at 2 tables. Our server was new so she was overwhelmed and no one seemed to be helping her. We had our meal which was good. When the bills came there were some errors on one of them. Getting that squared away at the counter was a bit of a chore. It was all very unfortunate.
I honestly don’t even think it deserves a 1 star review in all honesty. My aunt, my grandma, my cousin and I all stopped in to eat supper. My grandma and myself ordered the Honey butter chicken meal with mashed potatoes and coleslaw. The waitress brought out our food and it didn’t look anything like the picture on the menu. Now I’ve had this meal before in my hometown and it looked like the picture in the menu here in Lima. It was burnt and dry, I told the waitress and she proceeded to tell me it looks different because my coleslaw wasn’t on my plate. (Confused) She never offered to get me something different at all. The biscuits my aunt got with her meal was harder than a rock when she brought it to the waitresses attention she said that’s all they had and it would take 22 minutes to make more. I also had to go up front and ask for a refill on my tea because she never came back to the table after she brought us our food and then 5 minutes later brought us our check while still eating. Horrible horrible horrible! I definitely don’t recommend eating here!
Food was awful. We got take out because we never have any luck inside. Turkey, dressing and corn tasted awful. My daughters Large wildfire chicken salad was in a small container with hardly any lettuce. My husbands sausage was burnt. Paid over $50 for all this. They weren't even busy. Done giving this place chances.
My wife and mother-in-law. And I stopped in for dinner. My mother-in-law ordered the pot roast. I had the country fried steak. My wife ordered the Turkey Dinner. The Turkey was dry and overcooked. Or I should say microwaved. The Turkey gravy was so thin, it was like chicken broth. The server was very helpful and understanding. She brought my wife something else. The sad part is she had to watch us eat our food while she waited for her new order.
I give up on this Bob Evans and DoorDash. Last time I ordered there was a mix up and half the order didn't come so my husband had to go after cold food. This time it took over an hour to come. Ok, I was warned about that and accepted. However, when it arrived I got VERY overcooked cold food that was missing key ingredients. Should have learned lesson the first time. NEVER AGAIN!
Waitress was pretty good, but the kitchen was slow as molasses. It took about 40 minutes to get our appetizer. Food was pretty good though.
It was great! We love Bob Evans. We went with 6 people around 11am including 2 seniors, a teenager, and a 6 year old. Everyone found something they liked, some breakfast and some lunch.
Food was ok - more burnt than we like, service was horrible - very slow and there were more dirty tables than clean ones. AND the restaurant wasn’t even remotely busy.
