Garbage! Trash! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY! We brought our guests here for dinner and it was the worst food experience I’ve had in my life. My husband ordered a steak medium and the steak was literally mooing. My chicken sandwich had so much cartilage in it I gave up after biting into 3 different areas to find I could not even take a bite. We pretty much gave up and the dessert was decent. The table next to us sent back food as well. When we went up to the front to pay we were asked how the food was. When we said it wasn’t great the girl actually responded “well, there’s always next time”. There definitely will not be a next time… so we decided this joke at the end of the evening was the best part of the experience. Again… don’t waste your time and money. I’m not picky and this was just absolutely disgusting.
We are *done* with this place. I have been a customer for nearly 40 years. Two weeks ago, they forgot half of our order, and last week, the server had to double as the cook... except he didn't know how to cook. And again, we received only a partial order. This is on top of their slow slide into mediocre service since post COVID. Bob Evans used to be a safe bet for great food and service. Now, management should just close this location (Beavercreek).
I'm not sure what was going on, but the food was warm to cold. The server was a nice young man. He was a newer employee and was doing his best. They were out of a few things. Im not sure if the dinner rush was busy, but we stopped in about 7 pm. We had fast refills, and several servers stopped by and checked on us. It took our food about 40 minutes to arrive. During our time there, I had only seen about 6 to 8 customers, and they were small parties.
I had not been in this particular Bob Evans in probably 15 years. The meal I ordered was excellent. I would have rated the service higher, but my server forgot the rolls until I asked for them. Overall, it was a good stop!
As it's always a special experience to eat with family at Bob Evans, the lack of employees really bring the experience to a lower level. Overtasked servers mean slower coffee refills and food orders that are slower and sometimes wrong. I appreciate the efforts of the hard working servers kitchen staff, so please have patience with them.
The food was hit and miss. Great pancakes. Over easy eggs were a little too easy for me. Fast, friendly service. Something about all Bob Evans restaurants, they just don't feel clean. 🤷
Customer service is non-existent here. Waited more than 5 minutes along with 4 others, while the phone rang unanswered, and 3 employees walked around lackadaisical. No one greeted anyone or offered a reason for the wait. We left and went to the other BE on Colonel Glenn for a much better experience.
Had breakfast there this morning and had a great experience. Restaurant was busy but we were seated immediately and our order taken in less than 5 minutes. Food was good and we were in and out very quickly. Waitress very friendly and accommodating.
