Terrible service here. Went in with my mother. We were seated right away but it took the waitress 10 minutes to come over and take our drink order and another 10 for her to bring our drinks and take our order. And then an hour to get our food. My food was decent, no real complaints on mine. My mom ordered a salad and the lettuce was hot. Not warm, hot. Now I fully understand why all the Bob Evans restaurants around are getting closed.

Food was good. Service was decent but had to ask for silverware since there was none at our table and then the waitress only brought enough for 3 of our party of 6. We had to ask for more. Also did not ask to bring us boxes to take our leftovers home and just dropped our check on the table as she swooped by. She was really engrossed in having conversations with other tables.

The WORST Bob Evans experience ever. As soon as we walked in, the elderly hostess shouted at us that we would be waiting 30 minutes for food. There was no greeting whatsoever. The waitress was friendly and prompt to take the order. Food took about 40 minutes. The Eggs Benedict were sub par to say the least - eggs were not poached, rather pan fried and definitely over cooked. There was barely a drizzle of hollandaise sauce. When I requested more, the waitress brought some, but it wasn't even more than a tablespoon. She was apologetic. I will never return to this Bob Evans and will steer others away.

If I could give zero star's for the Angola Indiana Bob Evans restaurant I would. Today was the last time I will order take out at lunch time. Our office placed 4 separate order at approximately 1:15pm. After what you would assume would be the lunch rush. Not one order contained everything requested. Not one. Including the chicken pecan salad that did not include the chicken. A coworker picked up the phone and called the restaurant to let them know about all they missing items. They were quick to respond and someone personally drove some of the missing items to our facility. But after opening the bags, some of the requested items were still not included. Like the dressing for the salad that originally did not include the chicken. Again, they did respond quickly. Young lady drove back to the restaurant and retrieved the missing dressing. They also included two loaves of bread. It was a nice gesture but at this point - too little too late. This is the third time we've ordered take out lunch and not had a good experience. I think you should take "take out" off the options. You're just not any good at it. I've been inside the restaurant numerous times. Very slow. Don't expected to get your food quickly and it's just ok food. But, the wait staff are always courteous.

I've been to this place many, many times throughout my life. It typically takes a little while to actually get your food here (at least compared to most other places I've eaten at). I've had very good, friendly waitresses here and I've had some pretty bad ones, so I can't say anything overall about the quality of service. I recently had a pretty bad experience here. Before I tell about it let me make it clear that this kind of thing, in all the years I've been going here, has never happened to me at this place before. But recently I went here with two other people. It took too long to get our drinks, and our waitress took a very long time (at least twenty five minutes, probably more) to come back to the table so that we could ask her for straws since we forgot to when she first gave us the drinks. When we finally did get the chance to ask for the straws, the waitress said she'd get them for us and then we sat for roughly 45 minutes with still no straws. I eventually had to stop her as she was walking by and ask again, and we finally got the straws. We had ordered our food when we'd gotten our drinks. Overall we sat there for nearly two and a half hours waiting for our food. I wanted to walk out but the people I was with just wouldn't do that, although near the end they were very tempted. I heard some of the workers saying that a table had walked out, and I saw another table walk out sometime later. A group of about eight people had come in just before us, so I could understand some lag in the system, but there is no excuse for making three people wait two and a half hours for their food and nearly an hour just to get straws. When we did get our food, one of us got a full stack when we'd ordered a half stack and the two orders of toast took another ten minutes to come. I couldn't believe how terrible my experience there was that day. But let me repeat that this is the first time that anything like this has ever happened to me at this place, so hopefully it was just one really bad day. But usually, the wait for food will be a little over a half an hour. The food is pretty good here, although me and my family have learned to always order bacon "extra crispy" or else it comes out undercooked. Waitresses/waiters are almost always friendly and polite, even the ones that weren't great at their job. I've only ever had one even remotely rude waitress here one time. The prices are very good for what you get and the portions are not small. I really do like this place, and multiple people I know absolutely love it. Just do not come here expecting it to be a quick meal.

I love the Bob Evans chain. In the past, this store has not lived up to the brand, however it seems like they've put some time into cleaning up their act. The staff is friendly now and the food quality has improved. A few years ago, I decided I wasn't going back after repeated bad experiences, but last week it really sounded good so I gave it a try again. Glad I did!

Was seated rather quickly which was nice, but had to wait for the waiter to come take our order. That was maybe a ten minute wait. When there is six tables here, You can hear the people in the kitchen screaming at each other, how rude! Than we werent asked about refills on our drinks until we were finished with our meals and ready to go! Seriously? Had to wait 29 minutes for our bill. I will not be coming back.

Arrived shortly after church and was seated quickly. Food was great. Our server Chrystal, did a great job of taking care of us and seeing that we didn"t wait for drink refills. I really want to thank Shelleen, (forgive me if the spelling is incorrect) because I felt she made us, but especially me, feel very comfortable. She was very gracious and kind! When we are back in the area, we will be in again.
