My Sister and I stopped here for lunch today. I was particularly happy to find the establishment was dog friendly too. The service was fabulous and both the Lobster/Shrimp Asopado & Shrimp Caesar Salad were delicious. We will definitely come back in the near future!

Food (quality and taste)- 3/4 ⭐️ Service- 3/4 ⭐️ Ambiance- 5 ⭐️ Location-5 ⭐️ Prices/value- 4 ⭐️ Cleanliness- 4 ⭐️ We came here for Mother’s Day lunch after spending the day on the beach. It was our first time here. There was no wait time. We were sat immediately. We had several different people wait on us. The original waiter who had taken our order was never seen again and a young lady ended up taking care of us. The service was very spotty. We sometimes had to get up and go ask for things. We ordered the calamari as an appetizer. The calamari was very good- but I was shocked that they didn’t bring it with any lemon on the side. We asked for lemon, but they never brought it. We also ordered the tostones as an appetizer and again, I was shocked that they didn’t bring a creamy dipping sauce. Instead it had a garlicky olive oil for dipping. I’ve never seen that be used as a dipping sauce for a fried food. We asked the waiter if they had a creamy sauce for it- like a cilantro lime dip, or garlic aioli but he said they didn’t. 🤷🏼‍♀️ I ordered a Cosmopolitan for my drink. It was good. My husband and daughter both ordered the Mahi Mahi blackened. I’m be came out blackened and the other was just grilled. Again, neither came with a lemon wedge. 🤔 My son ordered the chicken fettuccine Alfredo and he liked it. It was a big plate and he had leftovers. My other daughter had the shrimp scampi and really liked it. She also had leftovers. I ordered the yellowtail fish with a side of mashed potatoes and a side salad. Mine was pretty good. I just wish they would give lemon with every fish order. We had to wait a long time for our check and to ask for to-go boxes. I might go back just for the location but not have very high expectations for service or food. Some food was good (5⭐️), but some was not (1⭐️)!

What a heck! If you want to see how a beutiful place, atmosphere, picturistic place is wasted then go! But not for the food, ti be served, enjoy a tasteful eatery etc. We have a hamburger, seafood paella, palomilla steak. OMG! The steak was the thinnest steak I had ever seen. Dull. Stale. Tasteless. Onion on it was not even marinated chopped only! Hamburger was anything but a hamburger, that was for my child. I wonder how a place could not fry even potates. French fries were awful! Paella was pricey. Like skyrocket pricey, $45, lacking flavour, insipid, bland. Not even an avarage. We tried to enjoy the view with 5 Stella and ended up paying over 200$ with terrible servers and food. Thank to view and location they treat you super bad as if they tell you f word each time and if you don't like it go because others will come whatever it is! Waste of time money and everything!

Amazing seaside location with great food. The whole fish was mouth watering! 🐟 P.S. The only downside is that the place doesn't take reservations and the wait time was about 30-40 minutes.

Hidden gem. Ok, not so hidden because it was full capacity at 2pm. Understandable why. Beautiful setting. Atmosphere is casual, waterfront dive but food is authentic. Beer is cold and not overpriced. Its nice break from walking the bay front trail.

Let’s start with the service the waiter was not accommodating to my friends dieters need. She has celiacs and would offer any substitute on the crackers on the fish dip. Then let’s get into the food. The presentation was there but the taste and cost wasn’t worth the price. My friend had the paella that brings lobster and when she bit into it she instantly got a sour tasty in her mouth and some tingling on the back of her throat. Later that night she was vomiting and spent most of the night on the toilet. The paella was 45 dollars. I order a burger and that was the worst burger I have ever had McDonald’s has better burgers then they do. The only thing they have going for them is the view but you should ask your self is the view worth a 260 bill. I don’t have a problem spending on a good night out but I could have spent half that and getting a 1000 times better experience from much other restaurants I know. The over all service coming in was unwelcome and uninvited. We saw them turn people away with 1.5 hr before they where going to close. This was my first time and last time going to the boaters grill.

Well I have to get back on the experience when we got there they were closing it was sunset so we took some pictures we planned to return try the food sample the beer and let you know how it is

We decided to head for the Boater’s Grill primarily for the location and ended up thoroughly enjoying both the location and our meal. Perhaps because it was a quiet night, post rainstorm, there was no wait at all and we easily got a table along the rail with a great view. Service was excellent and everything came quickly. I had the whole fried red snapper and it was outstanding. It comes with two sides and all together there was no need for an appetizer though we did get some tasty tostones to start, just because. Key lime pie was a nice palate cleanser at the end with lots of light meringue nicely balanced with a bit of tangy key lime. Capped it off with a walk to the point where we got to watch a spectacular sunset. Well worth the slightly pricey menu.
