I will not step foot in there again. I ordered a dozen wings from the bartender. The first 5 were ok. The sixth smelled and tasted like old fish. I spit it out and opened up another one. Sure enough same smell. I quietly notified the bartender not wanting to make a big deal of it. Him and another guy shrugged their shoulders. He asked if I wanted more. Why would I want more? I ask for the bill and the bartender charged me for them anyways. Having worked in the restaurant business for eight years I can't remember ever charging someone for obviously expired food.
Bliss is our favorite neighborhood bar in Sunnyside. It is always a fun time, especially when Liz is running the bar. She's witty, friendly and more than accommodating - she really goes above and beyond, especially for Bliss St regulars. Karaoke nights are a must-see event. Definitely stop by for food or drinks (or both!) the next time you pass by this Sunnyside mainstay.
$20 for a warmed up can of dinty moore's after a 25 min. wait in an empty rest. Very disappointed. Take it off the menu or make it properly. Complacency is cancer.
