We decided on this place because we could get in. We were greeted promptly. Our server was fantastic!! Great personality, friendly and responsive. It seemed as she and another gentleman were the only servers working. Once our order was placed it took over 45 minutes to get our food. Once the food was brought the fries were cold. Not warm. Not hot! Cold. My wife and I ordered a chicken wrap that was just okay. It was actually dry and tasteless. We also had an order of a grilled cheese that was so so. We also ordered a BLT. Definitely not something we would ever order again. My in-laws did like their Rueben .

When we first got to our table we waited around 20 minutes just to get menus, we asked for the kids menu and the waiter said why very rudely and wouldn’t show us even tho we had a kid, we ordered 2 grilled cheese and a garden salad, one of us is vegetarian and got the salad which then came out as the tenderloin salad instead, the waiter was very rude about the order being wrong and it then took another 30 to get the salad, mind you we had already waited for an hour for it, the grilled cheese wasn’t grilled it was just bread with melted cheese, and when we were paying and tipping we only tipped 5% since the waiter was very rude to us, when she noticed she rolled her eyes and walked away without saying anything. Overall I would not recommend coming here as there is so many other small restaurants that are around the area and have way better service and food.

A nice pub/restaurant in Souh Haven, Michigan that's convenience located in the most popular tourist area on Phoenix Street. The Chicken Cesar salad was very tasty (the bright red umbrella gave the food a pink hue in this shot). The outdoor seating provides a great view for people-watching or just having a nice chat with friends.

Atmosphere is blaring rock tunes at 7 pm on a Wednesday. I can’t here anyone next to me. Service from staff is lackluster. The lady that cranked up the tunes was dismissive. The manager said that the abrupt volume of the music was appropriate. I don’t think my family will be coming back. Very disappointing experience. So much potential for this south haven neighborhood spot.

The southwest burger was so good, the jalapeños were bussin. The wings were pretty good too. The chicken was nice and juicy. Would eat again 8/10

The black river tavern must not be missed, the chicken wrap with grilled chicken, was huge! And worth every penny, delicious to the last bite . Service at the BRT was immaculate! A good crowd and from the sticker in the wash basin u know the place is super clean if their washing routines is as such :)😃

Loved the casual atmosphere and bar. The fish n chips are recommended.

Wow, the food was really delicious! I had never heard of Pike Perch, but boy, was it tasty. I thought walleye was really the best freshwater fish, but they lightly breaded this pike perch to perfection. The pulled pork nachos had an amazing BBQ sauce on them. We are only here for 4 days, but I'm thinking i want to get back for more!
