Food was good, per usual, but a huge shout out to the server Robert L. He did an amazing job making the dinner experience entertaining and I appreciate the dad jokes!
Nice atmosphere, friendly waiters, but food seemed to be cooked with no love or dedication... yet overpriced. The menu sounded very promising from the start, but in reality, after 30 min of waiting, we got completely burned from both sides medium rare steak , and 2 lobster tails so thin and dry as if it aged in Egyptian thumb.🙄 Spent over 100$ for dinner and went home half-hungry...
I had a taste for a great steak and Black Angus you didn't disappoint me! 4 stars on service because when I first walked in I was greeted by 2 ppl standing at the front talking. Although they acknowledged me they continued with their conversation until I cleared my throat. I was then seated at a table way to the back where there weren't any ppl, I was thinking of leaving. But my waiter came quickly and was so professional and kind that it help take away the feeling of not wanting to eat there. He suggested I try one of the happy-hour drinks strawberry martini and it was fabulous, he would come and check to see if I was ready to order and would tell a joke. I ordered Ribeye steak with baked potato and green bean talk about a great well prepared steak! Juicy and Tender flavor in every bite I was so happy. I enjoyed my lunch and shall return for a date night.
Came here on a Wednesday night. We had a reservation but there were not many people in the restaurant. The server was helpful and friendly. I ordered a 16oz prime rib and it was excellent. Others in the party ordered ribs, lobster, and salad and it was all good. Food was a little pricey for what you get.
* * * UPDATE BELOW: Love this place. But they really upset my whole dining party tonight. They brought our salads and then brought the main dish about 2 minutes later. I told the manager and she did not seem to care. As requested, I sent an email to the Guest Relations Manager, Matthew Richardson. That was two weeks ago and I have not heard back from him.
Prime rib end cut did not live up to expectation. The ribeye was good, but the fillet was it. The best cut you can get at Black Angus. You also must have the cookie desert.
We love Black Angus!! Not many really good and AFFORDABLE steak houses left!! The food and service is always good. We go a few times a month. We went for lunch the other day, first time. We always go for dinner. It was so good and prices were great for the lunch specials! If you haven't been here lately, go!! You'll be happy you did.
The Steak cuts seemed a bit small/thin. The Red Mashed Potatoes were average at best. The Lobster 🦞 tails were very over cooked. For the price we paid for my Birthday dinner I was disappointed. Black Angus used to be a name among the Elite. They seem to have lost their step. The service was outstanding however. Just not impressed with the food.
