It's the most authentic Chinese restaurant we have been to in LA area. The food portions are smaller than I'd like for the high-end price. But they server good food and I love the dessert. They still taste good overnight.

Definitely lives up to the expectations. From service to presentation to the quality of the food itself, Bistro Na is definitely worth its price. While being on the pricier side, their selection is definitely of high class. I especially enjoyed their crispy shrimp.

Shrimp was excellent and the cabbage and pork stew was a bit at the table. But everything was really great. Ambience is lovely and the service is thoughtful. Parking... is a nightmare. If you want to save yourself some time and stress, look for parking on the street.

Old Beijing Smoked Duck Breast - not what I have in mind. Duck breast is nicely cooked. The smoke is on the light side and unlike traditional smoke as expected. Stir Fried Crab Meat and Fish Maw - is my favorite dish. It's almost like a stew. Braised Abalone & Pork Belly with Chinese Puffy Pie - fun, yummy and just a bit too sweet. Boiled Morel Mushroom Chicken Soup - Morel mushroom really came through - a pleasant surprise. I wish I knew where they got their Morels. Na's Spicy Chicken - it's ok Organic Cordyceps Flower and Celery Salad - the flavor is kind of forgettable, but now I have dry cordyceps flowers in my pantry. Pan Fried Beef Buns - I had better ones, so it is a pass.

Food is average for the price. Order the short ribs for $68... I think, flavor less, and I can taste that it's been sitting in the fridge for some time. The most expensive and worse dish of the night. The rest of the dishes are good... But not enough for me to want to go back for. The desserts were pretty good. Also, there was 7 of us, so they default a 20% tip on the bill which I thought it's more than any restaurant default tip I've been to. And considered the tip/price... When they drop off the food... There's not even an explanation of the food. Till today, I still haven't figure out what was the 2 sauces that came with the short ribs and what we're the desserts I ate.

We were very reluctant to try Bistro Na’s due to lots of bad reviews and people saying the food is just ok or very expensive. Well for us it was the most authentic Chinese restaurant we have been in Los Angeles area. We are very picky and have a standard for Chinese cuisine. Bistro Na’s offers a Chinese cuisine which isn’t greasy and high quality dishes with flavors. If you want to try the real cuisine then go to eat there it won’t be a disappointment. Forget about Panda Express or any other so called Chinese restaurants this is not the authentic flavor. About the service it is definitely the Chinese style. Most waiters speak both English and Mandarin. The decorations of the restaurant is very well done. The only reason I put 4 stars is the dust found everywhere especially on the wood. It is a pity because this restaurant was so good and had a Michelin star. Yes Bistro Na’s is very expensive but you get for what you pay.

If you are in the waiting area, you definitely won't think it's got the grand open area seating decked out in traditional Chinese furnishings. The attraction here is the former Michelin glory. Former is probably the key word here. The food is mediocre at best. The slight touch of fanciness in the dishes doesn't make up for otherwise average offerings. The taste is either bland, overly seasoned, or just nothing memorable. The dessert was nothing like the picture and was sent back. If you want a good presentation in a nice dining setting, this could be a choice. If your guests are even slightly connoisseurs, maybe choose somewhere else. Personally, trying this place once was good enough for me.

Great, but pricey. Portions are smaller than I'd like for the high end price. Not all items are amazing, but a lot of them are at least great. Service and atmosphere is insanely great though. If you're up for some fine Chinese dining, this should be on your list.
