Food was great and VERY filling. The entrees here are on the big side. I doubt anyone else is complaining but when my veal arrived, I was feeling very full just looking at it! The veal was delicious but I wouldn’t get it again. Price was also steep and had we known, we would’ve picked something else. We also ordered the duck liver mousse and the tomato soup pastry and both were phenomenal!! The only thing is that I’ve never been to a restaurant that gave customers enough bread for their mousse or pate. There’s always way more spread than there is bread. Other than that, the tomato soup was was very heartwarming and worth getting for eating and for the gram! We enjoyed our meal here. Service was also very nice. We had a table in their patio area and it was very quaint.

We ordered Coq Au Vin, Croque Madame and Peach Galette with Vanilla Ice Cream and all three dishes were very delicious. The servers were quick and attentive to our needs. The atmosphere was closer to family style and the dress code was between casual and smart casual. Also worth mentioning is that the tables all the way in the back were farther apart. The price is about $50~70 per person especially if you order a couple of glasses of wine. Overall, I would definitely come back another time, and would recommend this place to family and friends.

Our server Darryl was great and food was delicious! I had the petrale sole with mashed potatoes… one of the best! The significant other had the short ribs which were amazing! My only gripe is due to the reservations we made for outdoor dinning at 7:30pm not being accommodated. The maitre d’ did inform us that it would take another 30 minutes or more to sit outside due to “happy campers” not wanting to leave. We had to settle for indoor dinning and a “sorry”. We weren’t the only guests who experienced that issue tonight. The result … 4 stars.

Excellent service. Truly incredible food. One of the best meals I’ve had in my entire life. The pairing of delicious food, with incredible wine is some special. The knowledge of the staff is bar none.

Lovely restaurant. Accommodating, lovely staff, Sarah at the bar was especially incredible. Enjoyed every bit of my food. French country cooking done right.

One of the best restaurants in Napa Valley. This is a must visit place when you are visiting Napa valley. The food is really amazing and the service even better. I highly recommend getting a reservation before going if you have a party larger than 2 people. We were a group of 4 and got a reservation about two weeks in advance. Once we arrived they got us seated immediately. They gave plenty of time to review the menu. We decided to go with a bottle of ballentine. They also had a very extensive wine list featuring most of the wineries in Napa valley. We've also had their house wine before and it's fantastic. I also like that they offer different servings of wine based on carafes of 250ml and 500ml giving a lot of flexibility. Moving to the food. We've been here multiple times before but this we got mussels, beef bourginion and the beet salad. Everything was delicious. Our server recommended that we get the egg noodles with the beef and she was spot on. We need some carbs to go with the beef. I would highly recommend the beef bourginion. For dessert we got the epoisse and the chocolate croissant bread pudding. In my opinion the bread pudding did not need the chocolates and could be cooked for a tad bit longer but overall it was still great. The poached pear on epoisse was amazing.

Food was great and service as well, but the place does need a renovation. It is an expensive place, $269 for 1 appetizer, 4 main courses, 1 glass of wine and 1 dessert. Food was cooked perfectly no complains with that. Look for the menu and if you like it you'll not be disappointed. Do not sit outside, the place is adjacent to a parking lot that can get very noisy.

Overall a good experience of French cuisine in this quaint restaurant in the lovely town of Yountville. The place is quite crowded with guests and the stewards have a tough time squeezing through the very narrow passages with food trays but they do their job skillfully. We had French onion soup and some steaks and the preparations were quite authentic. Seating is available both inside and a covered place outside. Ample parking is available in the town's marketplace and toilets are clean
