The drinks were really tasty and original! The service was alright. The food was good. I don't know if the poutine holds up to Canadian standards but it was good, cheesy and plenty of bacon pieces. The blackened scallops were great, the side rice was tasty but very heavy. My friend ordered the risotto but we were disappointed because her rice was undercooked which is sort of ironic for a risotto.
First impression was great! Super friendly and fast service. The food was incredible, You need to try the poutine. The chicken sandwich was juicy and tender. The tiramisu was fresh and moist. All the food was plated well. In all the whole experience was great and very affordable. Thank you again to our amazing waiter Enzo!
First time here. Sat at the bar since it's usually a great experience no matter where we go. The specialty drinks knocked our socks off, unicorn blood and foxglove. Then we ordered main courses which did not disappoint! Absolutely delish. I got blackened scallops, and my partner got the chevre burger. Very different and both very tasty. If you want a very unexpected foodie treat with a laid back atmosphere and reasonable prices, this is your place.
I was greeted right away by a friendly server, I sat at the bar. Very comfortable atmosphere. The bartender was also very friendly and welcoming. She made me a yummy cocktail and I had a delicious salad with grilled chicken thighs added to it. Simple, fresh, and really hit the spot! I will definitely be back!
Don't waste your money on the generic charcuterie board. There is much better served elsewhere. Scallop dinner plate was tasty but the menu does not state the sauce the plate is drenched in. Plating looked good. Pricier than what the food delivers IMHO. Not a restaurant I really need to go back to at any point.
The vegan Squash Risotto is absolutely amazing! The pumpkin seeds on top add a nice crunch.
To start my experience at this restaurant the pitcher of water I received had cheese and other unidentifiable things floating around it. Inside my cup of water, it looked like I had pepper floating around also. The menu had a good selection to pick from and all three of us picked a meal fairly quickly. Then we waited 45 minutes until our waiter told us it be out in 10 minutes and that she was sorry. 15 minutes later we were about to get up and leave befor she came over to us and apologize again letting us know our food is coming out right now. It was very slow in there and not a lot of customers for us to be waiting that long. We ended up WAITING OVER A HOUR for 3 dishes!!! To top it all off the food wasn't even good. The only upside to the restaurant is that we got to sit outside and the waiter was somewhat nice. I wish that they had told us when we sat down that the wait would have been this long. The worst part about all of this is that we had a reservation for over two weeks ago to go here. I would highly recommend no one to go here unless you are trying to kill a lot of time.
I had always wanted to try this restaurant for a date night, and I finally got there - the ambience was fine, but the food was not worth the price. We had to wait a while for the food after we got the drinks, but the appetizer and entrée arrived at the same time. The fries in the poutine were mushy (more like boiled potatoes with cheese sauce), and the fish seemed fresh but was unseasoned. The only positive aspect was the drinks, but I would go to other places in town that only serve drinks. Overall, I would never come back and would not recommend it to anyone.
