Breakfast Menu "BILL-E's" Fairhope

Stopped by Bill-E’s for a late lunch. The place was fairly empty but it was Labor Day and early afternoon. We sat inside where the ceilings are covered in burlap sacks, the walls are lined with memorabilia, and the tables are basically a photo album of different people over the years (back when people actually printed pictures). Our waitress was friendly but not over attentive. My husband and I shared the bacon cheeseburger with chips and the beer bratwurst with sweet potato fries. The burger was delicious especially with the bacon. I bet their BLT is amazing! The chips were crunchy which I love, almost like kettle chips. The bratwurst overall was not what I’d hoped for. The flavor was what I’d expect, however, I was hoping for more toppings to really enhance the flavor of the bratwurst. The sweet potato fries were the perfect balance of salty and sweet. Cooked perfectly!

First, I want to give a round of applause to Bill for the most incredible bacon 🥓 ever! It's smokey, delicious and thick cut. That bacon is the reason I drove to Fairhope from Pensacola to have lunch. The restaurant itself is quirky and fun, I can only imagine how good the rain must sound on that tin roof. It's an outdoor/indoor seating situation, sit outdoors if you can. I ordered the blackened fish sandwich with fries and my friend ordered the BLT with fries. Honestly, I can't really say my sandwich was blackened, but it was flavorful. My friend had the BLT and it was very lettuce forward when it should have been heavy on the highly acclaimed bacon. Service was really good, I had a great time chatting with the servers. I love the ambience and the setting, really nice. I will definitely stop by again.

I got the bacon cheeseburger and French fries. The burger was really good and the fries were good and crispy. Went there from a recommendation from a TikTok friend on our way back from Gulf Shores.

The food was excellent, the staff was nice. The entertainment was very good. The mosquitoes will pack you away while you eat. They really need to do something about the mosquitoes. 13 bites on both arms. We'll go back but with bug spray on.

Update: Great food! Awesome servers! This time we had Katy... very personable and attentive! I always enjoying coming here! You cant go wrong! We enjoyed the atmosphere and the service was wonderful (Dani was personable and attentive)! We will be back!!

Rustic, courteous service, reasonable prices good value. The sandwiches were the pork belly and the shrimp sandwich with bacon. Both were really good, nicely smoked, good combination of flavors without getting overwhelmed and well put together with slaw and a good tasting bun. I’ll come again, I hear their burger is off the charts. I’ve been back 3 times since. I love it. The holy cow burger is off the charts good. Whoever decorates there has a sense of humor!

Food was pretty good. Service was great while ordering over the phone. However, when I got home, the bottom box seemed like it had be eaten out of. I mean there is hardly anything in there.
