Drove out to Rosedale, since the Havre de Grace one has closed. Worth the travel! My husband loved the wings (as always), the Chicken Chesapeake was spot on, and the mashed potatoes were the best I think I have ever had from a restaurant! The Cinnamon Roll Cake was delicious!!! Literally not one complaint I can think of with our food or service. Super nice cashier lady.
I can't say this is the worst place I've eaten at. But it's close. I especially like the whole wrapped up celery for a dine-in service. Chicken wings over cooked. Crab meat and potato skins was a grease fest.
Still can’t believe someone actually packed this Mac and cheese and thought it was okay for a customer. Completely dried out and hard noodles and had zero taste. The boneless wings I got were great but the Mac and cheese just ruined the whole meal and experience. They do not pay attention to detail here. EDIT: ordered again to give them another try - DELICIOUS! I think my first time was just a one off. Appreciate the owner reaching out, I wasn’t sure how to respond on here.
Just spent 36.00 on wings with no sauce will never be back again how are they expecting u to eat wings with no sauce on them. What a waste of my Friday night
Please change prices, I was charged $0.79 not $0.59 ea. Reply: If you fallow these steps you will see. 1. Google Maps, search Bill Bateman's Rosedale. 2. Click to open it. You will see (UPDATES) ("MENU") (REVIEWS) (PHOTOS)... 3. Click on "MENU" in there scroll over to "All-Day Daily Specials." 4. Look at "Tuesday Wing Special" Now one *. For wasting my time to explain.
I'm not sure how food like this can make it to a customer. Ordered a chesseburger and the roll smelled and was as hard as a rock. Pretty bad
Will never every order a crab cake from this place again. The crab cakes on the menu look nice and full of crab meat. The pictures depict a Maryland style crab cake. What I got was a fried mush cake of parsley. Could not even finish one bite of it. Wouldn't even feed it to my dogs. Called location, manager said that "everyone loves our crab cakes. What do you expect me to do about it." I'm not even sure it was crab meat....
I am from the Philadelphia area, so I have had my fill of cheese steaks. I normally am picky about cheese steaks. I ordered the cheese steak special on a whim and was very surprised about how good it was. The bread was fresh, the meat was moist and just enough to fill the roll. The customer service was great. I placed an online order, which was easy...but, the restaurant reached out just to confirm the details to make sure that was what I wanted. Customer service inside was just as good. I normally don't write reviews, but this whole Covid-19 situation has taught me that a restaurant or store can be there and then gone before you know it. Thanks for the great service and great food.
