Update 11/26 Back with kids and this time food still tasted good but the experience was not as good as first time. Both service and food quality was not stellar this time. Original: Heard about this place from few friends hence came to try. It is located in one of the upscale shopping hubs in Twin Cities area. Hence location is at a perfect place. You may have to park in the parking structure as it is always busy here We ordered vegetarian pot stickers and Kung Pao Tofu. It was delicious! They have many vegan and vegetarian options which most other Chinese and Thai places lack in twin cities. This being one of my favorite places to eat I regularly go and have literally the same stuff and amazingly I never get disappointed. Spicy shrimp is not on their menu but they always make it. I ordered with white rice. They still close at 8 PM and I always call in for a table before going there.

Location is fun, with a lot of stores surrounding it. Reservations are encouraged on the weekend. Food was pretty good, I have to come back to try more. Drinks were weak. The location had a steady buzz. Staff were friendly and welcoming.

We ordered a Kung Pao chicken and a Pad Thai with chicken. The pad Thai was tasty, not very sweet. Would recommend if not into a super sweet pad Thai. The waitress was new so she made a lot of mistakes with the orders. I had the seasonal summit which was good, a dark lager. The vibe in Big Bowl was chill, some families and a lot of couples that weren't overly dressed up. Was very fair priced I think. Overall a pretty standard meal, might go again.

We were there for dinner. The hostess didn't pay attention to who her customers were. We are senior citizens and need a table where we can hear each other. But she wanted to seat us at the window so 2 of us would be facing outside. We moved ourselves but didn't get waited on for 45 minutes. Then the appetizer we ordered didn't come until we hailed our waitress to check. Sure enough, it was half ready sitting on the window waiting to be filled. The food was OK. I've had better. Noisy and busy. Won't be back.

One of our most favorite restaurants around the Edina/Bloomington area. The food is absolutely delicious and service is top notch in a casual yet classy ambiance. I would love it if they could bring back the lemon and ginger creme brulee. A perfect date night place! Great cocktails and appetizers too.

I thought I'd try out Big Bowl since PF Chang is closed. I placed my order and went to use the restroom and on the way back witnessed a mouse meandering from the kitchen. Disgusting! I showed an employee and he just laughed, didn't do anything.

I always enjoy Big Bowl. The portion size, even at lunch, is enough for 2. They always provide excellent service and my most recent visit was no exception. It's nice to have a restaurant that you can always count on being a good experience.
