My siblings and I just hosted our mom's surprise 70th Birthday party at Bernie's in Hatboro last night with 60 guests and it was an amazing time! Eric and his team did a wonderful job executing all of the details for set up as we had discussed. The atmosphere and food were on point! We had a private bar and the girls who worked our event did a great job keeping the space clean throughout the night. The private area we had was spacious and there was plenty of parking behind the restaurant and on the street. My family and friends were all very impressed and most importantly my mom had a blast! I highly recommend this venue for events!

I got a Buffalo chicken wrap took one bite and threw up in my napkin. I opened the wrap and saw I was served raw chicken. Avoid this place at all cost. Food was absolutely awful. Never going back again. Not to mention I’m 7 months pregnant and if I ate this it could have been really bad.

This review is overdue since we were there on Friday evening after Thanksgiving. (Black Friday) Experience was so surprising I just could not provide a review. We hadn’t been at Bernie’s for quite some time so we decided to stop in for some drinks and appetizers. Surprisingly, the place was not as crowded as I remember. First thing that we noticed was how messy the bar was with several seats around the bar being vacant but the plates and drinks from previous patrons were still there to be cleaned up. So, we sat at a table off the bar and ordered a round of drinks. As we had our drinks we noticed more and more how dirty the place was and no effort being made to clean it up. So, we decided to leave but first went to the restrooms. Really can’t express how filthy the place was. Pic of toilet is women’s room. Pic of sinks and “jar of life savers” was men’s room. If that is what the public areas look like, I can’t imagine what the kitchen and food prep areas look like. Have not been back since and probably won’t for a long long time.

The venue was beautifully set up and the staff was friendly an accommodating to me as the host and to my guests. I highly recommend using them for any type of party. The brunch was delicious and the price was perfect for my event! Call Erin she is easy to deal with, very accommodating and works within your budget!

i always visit the location in Glenside. My family and I went to the one in Hatboro. DO NOT GO!!!! Slow service and raw chicken, dry Salmon and white chicken marsala shrimp that never came !!!!!! I was completely embarrassed.

Such a disappointing experience. Food took forever to come out, over 45 mins for soup and appetizer and another 30 for main plates. I ordered a burger and the bun was rock hard with wilted lettuce. The waitress was super nice and apologetic, seemed like this was a common occurrence for the food complaints. DEFINITELY won’t be coming back, and not surprised by the negative reviews.

This place had a lot of potential, great location and the atmosphere has the edge that could really make it a fun place. Mother's Day brunch was a wash. You could see that the staff and kitchen were stressed and stretched thin, much like the customers. Had Mother's day brunch reservations, waited 15 minutes before being seated. Finally got seated, waited 27 minutes before we were even offered water/order drinks. We had to flag someone down to try to get a drink order in. Drinks finally came about 45 minutes after sitting down, however they needed to swap one of them which took another solid 15 minutes (for a soda). Finally after being seated for one hour, someone came to take our food order. The food never came, near two hours later. We decided to just leave and eat at home. A tense fight broke out in the entrance way between staff and frustrated customers. We thought maybe today was an anomaly, but judging by other reviews; seems the norm. Now. I WILL say the host who seated us was very kind, and we appreciated the staff who did try to accommodate (when we could find them that is...)

Mia (the Manager) and David (the Guest Hostess Station) were fabulous. The food was delicious with generous portions and the cocktails refreshing! It was my first time visiting Bernie's and because of Mia and David's above and beyond service, professionalism and friendliness I will definitely be back! Also, it's a kid friendly environment!
