I’ve never eaten at this restaurant before but have heard very encouraging reviews in the past. This location is located in connection to Wyndham Hotel in Little Rock Arkansas. I went during lunchtime and it was very quiet. It took a while to be greeted but no one was at the reception desk. Food was just “ok.” The rice is heard so much about was a bit dry. My chicken and veggies were cooked well however not very seasoned to my taste. The soup was tasty. The waitress made me feel rushed, but that may have just been a cultural barrier. She was still nice. This experience alone wouldn’t warrant a second visit.

You may be wondering why the overall score is lower than the itemized ones. Well, as a plant based person, the options are limited. I went to celebrate a friend birthday and ordered the veggie roll & veggie hibachi (no butter, no egg, light salt). The roll was meh, the hibachi was good but there was not enough of it. The PORTIONS of vegetables were inappropriately small. Thankfully management came to a conclusion with which we were all happy. Great service.

I was quite disappointed August 31st . Celebrating my son's birthday. The chef was very nice and fun. However, when I began to eat (shrimp & fried rice), I felt a crunch in my mouth. I kind of chuckled because I figured the chef got an egg shell in the rice. Unfortunately, it was worse than an egg shell. It was a piece of glass. I showed my son who got the attention of the chef who looked mortified. He apologized and took my plate and made another. No one else seemed to have glass in their food, leaving me to conclude that glass was on my plate. Nevertheless, my appetite was lost. This has been my go-to birthday spot, now I'm thinking maybe it's time to find a new place to celebrate.

We reserved their private party room months ago for 18-20 people. When we arrived, the space wasn’t ready, we had to search for a waitress to get drinks ordered while we waited to get drinks ordered she finally brought a tray of waters and didn’t pass them out, and they didn’t have enough dishes for their sauces. Slow to ask if we wanted drink refills (not water, alcohol). We had to ask for the sauces and some of the party were not given sauce. The chef was borderline rude and they left the door open so there was no privacy. We couldn’t get our checks (two checks - one for food and one for alcohol) and when they finally came, she had to take them back as they had left off the champagne. The restaurant has really declined in the last few years. Sad.

Great food! Excellent customer service! They sing Happy Birthday Birthday! They have a birthday club that gets you $30 off your order. You get soup, salad, vegetables, rice (which can be changed to fried rice) and ice cream with your dinner plate. If you haven't been you must! So delicious 😋 😍

Food was great! The showmanship of the cooks were too notch. And the speed of service (we did a business lunch) was superb.

Today's lunch consisted of a medium cooked beef, fried rice, shrimp, and a dinner salad with house with ginger dressing. Also served was a order of sushi Crunchyroll. Sauce offeredh- Yum Yum Sauce Drink- Unsweet Tea Refills: Were Offered The first thing you notice upon entering this restaurant is how much it has aged over the years with needed updates seeming to be forgoten here. The chef was professional, friendly and efficient.. Upon sitting down at the table, you notice what are now paper napkins that were once made of cloth. The unsweet tea served could have been served with more ice , but, it was chilled and tasted freshly made. During the lunch time offerings, no scallops are on the menu, and the fried rice was also lacking mushrooms and broccoli. But, it did have onions and a very small piece of chicken along with a light assortment of zucchini. The only sauce made available was was yum yum sauce. The mustard-based sauce that I like is no longer available here. (WHY?) I always thought it paired well with eating steak as the sauce was a bit tart. The ginger in the house salad was a bit watery today, compared to what I have had here in the past. Also, soy sauce that use to be made available on both ends of the table was currently only available on one side. I had to make a special request for an extra bottle of Soy Sauce. No chopsticks were made available or offered during our meal. I also had to ask for a fork as the table was not properly prepared before we were seated. (No drinks such as sake were offered for purchase.) (No drink menu was offered for review.) As I noticed today the service quality of this restaurant is lacking where it was once Superior. Attention to details seems to be going very much unnoticed here today. No after meal mint's were made available.

We visited for a birthday dinner (sign up on Benihana and get $30 off your bill during your birthday month!). This Benihana is so consistent with their friendliness, cleanliness, and drive to give everyone a great experience. A few recommendations for dinners: 1. Ask for Karen as your server and Sasan as your chef, especially if you have kids in your group. Karen will treat you like family, and Sasan does a lot of the little things to make sure the kids are engaged. 2. Don't plan to have a serious conversation. We spend more time watching than talking, and it can get LOUD even if the dining room isn't packed. Several people in my family are not fans of coming here just because of the noise. 3. Don't have a strict schedule right after dinner, like a movie or a party you have to go to at a certain time. Benihana is not a place you can get in and out quickly if you want the full experience. We were there about an hour and forty minutes and things were happening the whole time. 4. Load up on yum yum sauce. 5. Prepare yourself for to-go boxes, especially if you order appetizers; the portions for the main meals are massive. 6. Have fun! Give in to the goofiness. The more you're involved and interested, the more the chefs tend to interact and do more. This is not a place we go to all the time, but it's excellent as a celebration meal. Highly recommend if you've got a group that enjoys dinner and a show!
