This is a very intimate spot so i hope u don't mind being elbows distance away from others. Went here for a special event and was deeply disappointed. Food was small, lack luster, and un seasoned. Seating was uncomfortable and for the price it's just not worth it. On the plus side there was live music plenty of wine choices plus a rum style daiquiri but that's about the only good thing I can say was good here.
Fernando was exceptionally kind and attentive the food was excellent, Adam took care and made sure we have good time will be back again. Great place we discovered by pure chance reading the reviews on Google
This was our first time in here and WOW! It's not that often I go to a restaurant and have an experience anywhere near as good as I did here, five stars is not enough and doesn't do it justice. Our server Fernando was exemplary, his attention to detail and the level service he provided was amazing, I wish he could be at every restaurant, he is a real credit to the business. The food was delicious and matched the service. I had the French onion soup that was on special, the scallops, and creme brulee. Wifey had calamari, followed by the short rib, complements to the Chef and kitchen staff, all of the food was beautifully presented, cooked to perfection and tasty. The live music and the atmosphere was great, not too loud or anything. The wine and cocktails were as good as the food, we sat at the bar for a couple of after dinner drinks at my wife's suggestion, fist time she's ever said that. I cannot wait to return with friends and family and show them this absolute gem of a restaurant. Fernando, thank you so much for an amazing experience, I'll be sure to request you personally every time we return, I'm a customer for life.
Really excellent dinner option for visitors returning from the Safari Park. Seafood soup was a winner with scallops, salmon, clams, mussels and halibut. Lamb was fantastic. Bread was great. The kitchen was fine with adjustments, combining different parts of the menu. Butter cake was a phenomenal dessert to end the meal. Service overall was very good.
Had a dine in experience prior at this restaurant and I really enjoyed the food. I ordered take outs today and the portion of this $16 Caesar salad is just pathetic . Less than a couple ounces of food. 6 pieces of 1/2 leafy lettuce. Will not recommend.
We celebrated our engagement here and had a lovely time. Brian was very knowledgeable and helped us pick a great wine to go with our delicious meal. Would absolutely recognize for an intimate dinner date.
That place is delicious! We’ve come here many times, highly recommend for a date night or girls night out. The blue cheese martinis are perfect. Prime rib is great (served Mondays only I believe). Oysters here never disappoint. And 1/2 off bottles of wine on Wednesday. 7 of the 8 times I’ve been here there’s been amazing staff! This last visit was comical how bad our server was, but we’ve also been in the industry so we know how hard getting staff post covid is.. EVEN with the last experience, still a 5 star spot!
Although the service was excellent the food was extremely salty which was relayed to the waiter, the meat was a low grade and the noise level in the restaurant was very high. I understand the mirrors are designed to make it look larger but they reflect the noise tremendously and perhaps the ceiling should have a bit of noise absorbing quality. It is not a cheap place to eat so the atmosphere should reflect it. I could hear people at tables across the room and at 75 years old my hearing is not the best. I would not recommend this place.
