Great food, generous portions, and speedy service. The quality is justified in their pricing.

Beautiful restaurant. Food is delicious and the portions are actually filling so you don't leave hungry. The beef tartare is one of my favorites and the desserts are always amazing. They do a souffle flavor that changes every day and it's always good. The cheesecake is also noteworthy, flavorful but not too sweet.

The best Italian restaurant in the area and it’s not even close! Food is always amazing, no matter what you order. Desserts are hand made and always impressive! Absolutely love it here!

Food and service are fantastic. Veal Milanese is not on the menu but the kitchen will accommodate! The salad on top of the veal is so fresh and offers a lovely contrast to the crispy cutlet. Service is fantastic and their homemade pastas are off the charts!

Liked the Crispy fried calamari, tasty artichoke heart appetizer. Very good Pasta special (Shrimp with garlic tomato sauce). Average/ok taste seafood risotto entree. We ordered two souffle desserts, one chocolate and one strawberry. The strawberry souffle was good. The chocolate souffle was a failure which they still served to us. (see the photo) it tastes like a soft chocolate cookie. We should complain but don't want to wait 15 mins more in the cold patio for another one. We did not ask for credit and no credit was offered either.

I can't say enough about the place I was there twice in two weeks.Mario the owner makes you feel like you're in his own home. The food was impeccable, went the second time for Mother's Day, and even though it was very crowded, the service was excellent and the food choices exquisite. I had one of the seafood pasta specials with generous portions of lobster and shrimp.

A favorite! Had a lovely lunch, service was attentive and friendly/professional. We didn't tell them we were celebrating, but they were very observant. Our dessert had a birthday greeting!

I heard about Basilico years ago (pre-COVID) from family who loved it. So when my cousin suggested we have dinner here on Saturday since it’s halfway between our homes, I was excited! I was happy to see how lovely the place looked and unfortunately, it went downhill from there. Service was rushed and unfriendly. The waiter, although competent, looked and acted as if he was just trying to get through the night. Each time we finished a course, the busgirl would pounce on our tables and frantically remove dishes and silverware. I should note that we were there early at 6:00 so the place was not packed. Now for the food… * Appetizer: calamari was flavorless and the marinara sauce just tasted like tomato sauce. Caesar salad was edible. * Wine: I was surprised when the waiter told us that they only serve half bottles or full. Half bottle selection was limited so I couldn’t order what I really wanted to drink. * Main course: I ordered the sole special ($40). The fish was over cooked and the flavor was nonexistent. I couldn’t taste the garlic (which was the reason I ordered it). My daughter ordered the Fusilli con Cavolo ($25) and that had more flavor, but was too salty. * Dessert: Tartufo Trio was the best thing that we ate here! I also ordered the chocolate soufflé and that was just ok. It had a side of whip when it really needed a side of chocolate ganache to give it more flavor. I would not ever go back. Their food is overpriced, unappetizing and flavorless; and their wait staff makes you feel rushed throughout your meal.
