Barnacle Billy's is a great seafood restaurant in Ogunquit in Perkins Cove. They do not take reservations; it is seat yourself style where you order at front at the counter and they will call your number to be picked up when it is ready. I have always gotten a lobster here and loved it, but they have plenty of other options. The restaurant is quite large with lots of seating both inside and out. There is a deck out back that has a good amount of seating as well, and tables are pretty large so they re set up well for families. The restaurant is not upscale, it is just a casual seafood place with great food and great service. I recommend sitting outside on the back deck if the weather is nice because it overlooks the water where you can see boats. It's a very pretty area.

My wife and I had a nice lunch here on a Thursday afternoon in mid August 2023. The weather was cloudy so the place was not as packed as it usually is on a nice sunny day. The restaurant has free valet parking right across the street, and the outside deck has a scenic view of the harbor at Perkins Cove. We ordered lobster rolls, corn on the cob and Cole slaw. One of the most meaty and delicious lobster rolls that we've had. Not inexpensive, but wonderful. Not the best place for wine by the glass, but the beer was very good. The raspberry sorbet and hot fudge sundae with peanut butter Oreo ice cream for dessert were terrific. This is a very pleasant place to have lunch. Good service and great lobster rolls and desserts. We will definitely come back the next time we vacation in the area.

Beautiful location and view. Nice comfy atmosphere inside. Parking available at location (valet). We went at 11:30AM on a Saturday. Service was fast, staff very nice and courteous. Ordered 2 lobster roll meals at $32 each, which came with a few bread and butter pickle chips, and a bag of plain ruffle chips. The lobster tasted excellent, not rubbery at all. You can probably get a similar meal for a couple bucks cheaper, or a meatier roll for only a few dollars more at nearby places. Bit pricey, but expected.

Just okay. Not worth being an actual destination. Prices outrageous for type of atmosphere/service/food. Cocktails ok. They have a takeout ice cream window, so might be worthwhile for that. Nice views if you walk around that little area.

We had drinks and dessert there. Mostly self serve for the food but wait staff took orders and brought our alcoholic drinks. Both were great. Great view of the water from the deck.

If you are visiting Perkins Cove you can’t miss this place. We come each time we visit Maine. The chowder and steamers are some of the best around. Also the hot buttered lobster roll is sure to please. Free parking across the street as long as you are eating at Billy’s. Although pricy I highly recommend this establishment!

My mom and I came here to enjoy some drinks and a beautiful view! We had some cocktails and sat up on the rooftop to watch the boats while waiting for our lighthouse cruise! Highly recommend for the drinks and view alone!

It was a super rainy day, so we just had lunch in Ogunquit. Our server, Tara, was welcoming and efficient. We shared our first lobster roll. We had the warm one with butter. We also shared a bowl of clam chowder. It was great, as was the cream puff ice cream and chocolate syrup dessert.
