It’s taken a long time for me to try this place, I’ve heard great things about their burger for years. The good: pub style thick burger, cooked to perfection and juicy. I personally hated the cheddar sauce (cheddar steamed with beer) but I won’t hold that against them I must have seen 100 burgers come out of the kitchen with the beer sauce. People must love it. Atmosphere and nice cold draft beer was 👌🙌. Busy, happy smiling people enjoying the place. The bad: calamari app was horrible. Worst quality I have seen in a looong time. Look at the white plasticky thing in my photos. As you’ll see in my profile, I am a seafood expert. This squid was so freezer burnt there was nothing edible about it. Definitely a big factory product like Sysco brand or worse. The mayo was generic brand as well. Please switch to hellmans. Wings were a 5 out of 10. Had soggy skin and cheap sweet BBQ sauce on them. The ugly: server told us squid was fresh so there is no tentacles which makes no sense. That means it probably came in a block of frozen tubes. I haven’t seen fresh squid used for calamari in years. Fried zucchini was recommended by server but it was just okay. Steak fries 6 out of 10 as well. I was on the fence with 3 or 4 stars due to how horrible the calamari was. I decided on 4 stars because I actually liked the place and would definitely go back. I would without a doubt get a medium rare burger with no cheese and slurp down the frosty beers. I would definitely not try steamers or fried oysters even though they are personal favorites. The attention to detail is not good here. I doubt they soak the steamers to siphon them. Oysters probably pre breaded and frozen. Place is definitely a landmark burger spot.

As always, Barnacle Bill's is extremely popular and ALWAYS crowded with very long wait times. Everything on the menu is delicious and worth what could be a long wait. I drink tonic water with extra limes, and they always provide several. After dinner (or before while waiting for your table), walk to the marina at the end of the parking lot and look for the ospreys' nest at the top of a tall platform in the water.

My father couldn't stop raving about this place and I can see why. There were about 20 people waiting to get in before opening time and within the next 15 minutes there wasn't a table to be had! Place filled up quickly! I ordered the burger and my father had the crab cake sandwich. Other than the burger being overcooked (totally NOT the waitress's fault; she entered it correctly) it was very tasty and I enjoyed it with the chips versus having it with fries (made it less filling). Great atmosphere and I would love to come back and try the seafood entrees!

Place is amazing & location even better, can't say enough about that!!! Service wS alittle fast & im a fast person but all and all a Homerun!!! Gets busy!!!! You will c y when u come !!!! Veiws ,outdoor seating and bar are a must try!!!!

Had swordfish...mmm, delicious! To me, it seemed quite busy but the family/friends I was with said it was slow. They ran out of a lot of dishes. Father's day was when we were there. Great time!!

After a long day of visiting Sandy hook beach we decided to get some good seafood before we headed back to our campsite. We arrived here when the dining room was packed and the wait was not that bad plus they use a text message system so you don't have to wait by the hostess. The food tasted fresh and they have kid friendly options. Would recommend

Ate here for dinner last night to celebrate a family birthday and it overall was a good time. You get live music and the staff is super friendly & helpful. I will admit that it was a long wait just to get a table (unsure if it was because of our party size, a weekend day or the hours we went), so we waited about 1 hour and 45 minutes. Other than that the only qualms I have about the charming restaurant, is that sitting down you’re greeted by a certain family coziness. Everyone is enjoying their meals but the noise is overwhelming. It’s super loud and my family had quite a difficult time even talking to our server to put in our orders but nonetheless the food was still great. We even got to meet Elvis before we left which was awesome haha!

Still the best! Living in HI now and really enjoyed coming back for the house salad and burger! Yewww 🤙🤙
