Breakfast Menu "Ballaro" Highwood

Some of the food was excellent. Really liked the prosciutto bruschetta along with the pappardelle. The apple costini was fabulous. The brussel sprouts were burnt. Service was not attentive. There were many times the server walked by without looking at our table. We probably would have purchased more drinks but he let our glasses sit empty.

My cousin rented out a room for their child's first birthday. I didn't have any expectations but left very impressed. It's a very cute place . The food was very good. But what impressed me was the quality of service. Also as long as you meet a certain minimum of food charges, there is no room fees. Will be back....

From the craft cocktails to the finessed meals to the astounding desserts, Ballaro is an absolute gem. They are EXTREMELY conscientious when it comes to allergies, too. The whole experience is lovely: the food is beyond delicious, the service is attentive ... even the music is a delight! Highly recommended!

Good food and service. Had a pizza and the burger. Pizza was decent and plentiful for the price. The burger was excellent. Will try a main dish next time. Good atmosphere. Update: changed from 4 to 5 stars after eating dinner here. Superb service, great wine selection and recommendations, and main dishes were all delicious.

Everything we ate was outstanding! I highly recommend the scallop appetizer and the eggplant appetizer- The spaghetti with clams was delicious and the Chocolate tart was amazing! Great service as well- We can't wait to go back!

Absolutely delicious Italian food. Do NOT miss the squid ink tagliatelle with shrimp, and the roasted eggplant starter is terrific as well. Great service too (shout out to Seth).

A great new restaurant has been added to Highwood! Food was delicious-pizza, crab appetizer, salmon, and terrific desserts……menu also included some signature homemade pasta dishes as well as burgers, short ribs, chicken and other solid dinner choices. Our waiter, Jesus, was very attentive and Ballaro has great vibe. You won't be disappointed……….. Good luck to owners Mark and Coleen…!!!!!!!!

Fantastic ambiance, amazing waiters! Had a very pleasant evening with my girlfriend for a very reasonable price. The waiters were extremely friendly and knowledgeable! Will definitely return soon!
