We have been wanting to try this place for a long time, as we drive by it time and again. We finally got the chance this past weekend and we are glad we did! We had some great discussions with the owner(who was our server, as well) and other patrons at the bar. Plus the food was great! We received large portions that satisfied with enough for another meal later. The chicken was cooked perfectly and the fried and homemade potato chips were delicious. I was able to play a little keno and we both had an ice cold brew/cocktail on a hot summer day! All in all a great experience and we will definitely return. I also want to comment that this place is perfect for family as well, we just preferred to sit at the bar, there is plenty of seating throughout the restarting in a very laid back, comfortable setting.
We stopped in this spot as a last second choice and it did not disappoint. Jaclyn made me her frozen banana mudslide which was so thick and delicious. Absolutely no complaints about the food; the fried pickles breading wasn't salty and they came out piping hot! Their chicken tenders are fresh breast meat and were served hot and juicy with your choice of many sauces. The fries were golden and not overcooked or soggy. Honestly cannot recommend this place enough. You can eat in or call for pickup and they have a full a bar. Eat here!!
Pizza and fish and chips were very good. I suspect all of the food is good. Place is comfortable. Drink was skimpy and expensive. This is a local bar/restaurant. If you are not local, you may find the barmaid loud and offensive. I do not care about the drugs she did at 17, which the whole restaurant had to learn.
PROS: friendly service - the girl at the front was very friendly and efficient. Nice interior. Good potato skins, great appetizer combo plate. Food was ready on time and very hot. Cons: chicken finger breading was very very dark, edible - but it made me wonder what they were fried in. Curly fries were underdone and onion ring batter had no flavor and fell off in flakes leaving you with half cooked onion. Parking is a bit hard, although it does say there is parking in the rear that I was unable to find. I’d be interested to try some other things we saw on the menu but this one didn’t hit a home run.
Bad Larry's is the baddest. They always got my orders cooked to perfection and just right. They also deliver which is wicked awesome if you're local like me. Keep up the wicked good work Bad Larry's.
"Homemade from scratch" was very good. I had the chicken and broccoli fettuccine and the little guys had hot dogs with fries. Things came from the kitchen a little too slowly for the kids not to get restless. But our server, Austin, was the best! Even spent a minute to do a little sleight of hand to amaze the boys!
ive been here a few times and they always have great food and staff. i love the tenders and pizza, but the Alfredo is to die for. Cocktails are always fruity and strong💕... i met the owner tonight and he is soo nice and funny!
We visited Bad Larry's for this first time this past Monday despite having lived in the area for almost 7 years. What a pleasant surprise! We had dinner at the restaurant but were happy to find out that Bad Larry's also provides takeout. We were impressed by the quality of our food even though the meals were simple and typical bar fare. In talking with the owner he mentioned they pride themselves on making as much from scratch as possible. The kid's mac and cheese was a legitimate homemade dish, creamy and cheesy. So much flavor! The kid's chicken "nuggets" were actual small pieces of pounded chicken in what seemed to be a homemade breading and then fried. We ordered a pound of chicken wings and those did not disappoint. The wings were well prepared, moist and generous in size. Try the Zombie sauce! We ordered a couple other dishes and drinks to round out our meal. Our family will definitely be going back or ordering takeout in the future.
