Had a wonderful lunch on a Sunday. I had the short rib grilled cheese AMAZING.!!! The lady had the shrimp and grits, which I concede are better than mine. Would definitely recommend if you're in the area...oh and the ice tea comes with a shot of simple syrup fancy

Great little place nestled in the quaint town of Port Deposit. Don't let the outside fool you, it is bigger inside than you would think. They also offer outdoor seating which is a plus. The food is always amazing. The service is great. Note-- make reservations for the best experience

Food was amazing and so was our waitress. We ordered Black and Blue filets and our sides were mashed potatoes, sweet mashed potatoes,salad and Brussel sprouts. Steak was cooked perfectly to medium rare and so flavorful. Our sides were equally flavorful, sprouts had the perfect crunchy outside and soft center and the mashed sweet potatoes were so delicious and could if counted as a dessert. Highly recommend and will definitely be returning. Would recommend reservation.

Atmosphere was nice. Food was just ok. Waited a long time for the food to be brought out and not all of us were served at the same time. Hopefully just an off night. Disappointed. Good thing we were with good friends to make the wait a little more bearable.

Perfect. Started with fire and ice appetizer, which was Ahi, wasabi, and sauce... the sweet sauce with the kick of the wasabi was the perfect balance. The fillet mignon was medium rare, and was cooked evenly, the peppercorn added great flavor without taking away from the natural flavor of the steak itself. Mashed potatoes with caramelized onion.. need I say more, nope. Best potatoes this belly ever had. The rib eye steak with blue cheese butter; melt in your mouth delicious. As for the dessert, I have never tried creme brulee, and decided to give it a go here.. it was a great dessert to top off the amazing dinner. If I could give 6 stars, I would. I'm glad we decided to have our date night here, and would definitely be back. Our server Kaitlin was awesome, she understood this girls need for the tasty rolls and dessert. If you're looking for a spectacular meal, this is the place.

We had a group of 20. Took 2-3 hours to get our food. People in our group didn't get everything they ordered. One couple took 3 hours for their food. Only had one waitress. Other people in the restaurant came & went during our time there. Restaurant catered to their food order over our group.

Another fabulous experience at Backfin Blues tonight. Food was on point, waitress (Bailey) was such a pleasure. We love this place, if you haven’t been, go! You will not regret it.

Great little local restaurant with a chef curated menu. Super friendly staff, nice outdoor deck. Not a 'fast casual' mass market place. Come for the experience, not just to grab something to eat.
