Wow, this is the real deal! Not a dud on the table. Meatloaf was maybe the best I have ever tasted. Hash casserole side was creamy and perfect consistency. Crispy chicken fried chicken, delicious. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone and definitely stop back when traveling by. A+ service as well, friendly and attentive.

Great atmosphere, friendly staff, and home cooking--can't beat it in e-Town, KY! Cod on fish tacos is delicious--best ever! KY Hot brown coleslaw & sauce are awesome!

Not quite sure why all the great reviews. First; the parking lot is made for very compact vehicles only. And THEY have be careful not to maneuver into ditch. 2nd: This business is NOT accessible at all even though they have a "wheelchair" entrance. There is no way to maneuver once inside. Restrooms NOT accesible. Wait time seemed longer than expected for AFTER lunch time. 40 minutes from walking in until we all had our food. Food was flavorful, and the attempt at presentation was so, so. Flickering lights could be hazardous for people with susceptible conditions. Or... The place is an electrical fire waiting to happen. Prices high for what you get. Drink prices not shown on menu, but considering our total must be $4+/- each.

A local gem of a restaurant, owned and operated locally. I've visited here often and have had a consistently great experience. I've had most of the food on the menu, and I've never had a bad experience or disappointing meal here. Excellent 'comfort food' country style cooking. I have pictured the open faced roast beef and broccoli casserole from my most recent visit. The staff are super friendly and very attentive. They take really good care of you without interrupting your meal very often. The atmosphere is tame, and the music is at a reasonable level. The seating is comfortable. And from what I've seen, they make improvements regularly. Great patio to dine on as well. Parking on the restaurant property is limited, but public parking is available nearby.

Fantastic restaurant. The food is so good and we will definitely be going back. The boutique upstairs is so cute with very nice, well priced items. The decor all around is charming. The chocolate cake is amazing.

I tried this place for the first time yesterday and the food was amazing. I ate the fried green tomatoes, chicken salad croissant, and peach cobbler. Fried green tomatoes is something I miss from back home (MS) and I’m happy to have found my new spot for those. The atmosphere is very homey. It smells great when you walk in. It’s literally like going into someone’s home to eat and being hosted by a great family that shows great hospitality to you and your family.

I don't usually give 5 stars, but this is well worth it. The food was perfection and the service was like having your mom serving you. Coffee cup and ice tea glass always full, never had to ask. The appetizer of sweet onion dip was unique and wonderful. The salad was a delight in flavors, blue cheese, pecans, craisins, and very crisp apple slices. The chicken tenders were very crisp and still the chicken was moist. The Mac and cheese was creamy and flavorful. The sweet potato casserole was almost as good as mine. Looking forward to the Coalminer's cake. Would enjoy coming again even though an hour from home.

In love with their liberal use of butter, cheese , and love in their comfort food. Biggest problem you will face is what you want on your current visit and what you have on your next visit.
