As an engineer, the restaurant's name stuck out to me right away (The number of units in one mole of any substance is called Avogadro's number or Avogadro's constant). I just knew I needed to check this restaurant, bar, music venue out. There just happened to be a blues band playing that day too! First off, the atmosphere of the place is really neat with a spacious and cool interior and also spacious and well decorated outdoors area. Plenty of space here to hang out! The food was amazing both in terms of price and taste. I was very surprised at the size of the sandwich for $13. I would highly recommend the Joe's Sandwich if you are a fan of cream cheese.
Eclectic college diner and concert venue. Stopped in for a quick lunch on our way through town back to colorado springs. Lots of vegan and vegetarian options as well as choices for the meat eaters in the group. Tried the Tempeh Reuben which was quite tasty. Will definitely be back again with hopefully more time to check out the patio etc.
We came for dinner, and not a show, so judge it based on that. I had the pollack Po-Boy, which was very good, with the cheese sticks where were really good. My wife had gluten free cheese steak which she said was very good. The sweet potato fries she said were just OK. Atmosphere is kinda old., but comfortable. They do have a room for live music, but nothing tonight. Perfect college town place.
$$ ($63 for 3 people.) 2pm lunch on Friday. We sat where we wanted. Club sandwich was excellent. Green chili chicken melt and Bacon Cheddar burger was good. We got our food at a good time. Service people were nice.
I’ve been here twice & food is very good both times! Love the patio & live music 🎶 Busy area, so parking was a bit tricky. The jazz on the patio is fabulous! Lots of seating inside & out. Sandwiches are my favorite 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
The worst chicken tenders I have ever had. They were hardly breaded, oily and appeared to be some sort of grilled chicken that was then turned into chicken tenders... I thought this would've been an easy can't mess up order but I will not return for the food. On a side note the patio is very cool and service was great.
Great food, friendly staff, great atmosphere at a reasonable cost. If you don't want to pay the very low cost of hearing music, 15.00 or less you can sit in the front room and eat and still hear the music. Its extremely easy, not confusing, to order food and have them bring to your table. I had my sons birthday there last night and we had a great time and sat in the front room. This is to any negative comments I read about Avos.
Really disappointed with this place. Food took over 45mins to come out. Up charge for jalapeño poppers on side and only got three. The fish and chips were had frozen fish stick quality. Rueben was ok.
