My two favorite things here are the baklava and hummus. We've ordered from here at least 4 times. The last time I actually went to pick up my food. I was craving the baklava, but ended up ordering a lunch platter, hummus, and two pieces of baklava. I love the freshness of the food. The staff was very friendly. He remembered when I called to ask about the baklava. He even gave me a little discount. I love supporting mom and pop restaurants like this. Next time my family and I will have to dine in. It's in a nice location.
We wanted Mediterranean for lunch, and there was Aria. The house-made hummus and freshly made pita was delicious. The cucumber salad was spot on for that 90+F day. Then a Gyro and a couple of kabob wraps were ordered and devoured. Oh, and their fries (came with my sandwich) were kinda crazy good - really crisp. Best I've had in years. Service was fast and friendly. Cafe is very simple and small - I think they do a strong take-out trade. We'd definitely head back if we were in the area again.
Smaller restaurant with friendly staff. Quick service and good food. Menu is simple yet effective. I wasn’t completely blown away by the gobi but everyone else loved their gyros.
Highly recommend this place, very authentic and delicious food, placed a delivery order for chicken curry and three bean salad. I’m very satisfied with everything. Food arrived fast and was able to enjoy a hot tasty, fresh dish. This is my first time trying this place, looks like they got a new repeatable customer. Looking forward to trying thier other selections. I have high hopes. 👍.
Simple and yet so delicious. So glad we stopped by this place for lunch. Everything (hummus, babaganoush, lamb, chicken, salads) was great!

Listen, people... Aria Mediterranean Cuisine, Swarthmore, PA, is THE BEST food I have eaten all year! The hummus and babaganush served with warm pita wedges are so tasty and creamy and rich, you will enjoy it by themselves as delightful meals. I tried the warm lamb kabob and salmon kabob, made in a light, delicious wrap with lettuce, onions, tomatoes and tzaziki sauce. It was a magnificent blend of warm and cool flavors that blended beautifully to my palate. My mind and taste buds were experiencing the delight of fresh healthy food at the same time feeling so amazingly gratified by an assembly of deliciousness. I really enjoyed the food. When I mentioned to Azeem, the owner/chef, about how much I enjoyed the meal, he made me his specialty fish!! Mildly spiced cajun swahi grilled in virgin olive oil. Man, the hits kept on coming! Friends, I usually take a lot of pictures to show of my meal. I was so hungry and enjoying the meal so much, I did not take my signature presentational food showcase. Try Aria Mediterranean Cuisine in Swarthmore. You will love it.
The samosas are hand grenades of spicy hot deliciousness not to be missed. Chicken kabob pita (pictured) was flavorful but not over the top. Fries are surprisingly the best around town. People are really nice.
