My now husband and I got married at Antrim recently and Jill, Sandy, and staff did such a great job at delivering such detailed oriented attention and service to our whole wedding from decor, to our vendors. Everyone was taken care of with professionalism and utmost care. Step by step Jill outlined the wedding day and not once did it ever feel overwhelming with so much we had going on during the wedding planning. Our guests raved about the food throughout and they loved the open bar. If you can, upgrade to the lamb for one of the entrees- it was exquisite! Perfectly cooked. Sandy made sure to clean up afterwards and keep everything for us for the morning after, and even sent some of our cake and strawberries up to our room. Our wedding suite, the Boucher room was so beautiful and we loved the tub! We had a nice dip in the pool the morning after with family and friends after the send off breakfast which was so good too! It was such a wonderful wedding day and we thank the whole team for making it such a wonderful experience from start to finish! We are so glad we chose this venue for our beautiful and intimate wedding. We will for sure be back for a weekend getaway and enjoy more of the tea time and pool.

We visited Antrim in the planning of our Daughter and future Son-in-law's wedding. I'll obviously give an updated review after the event. That said, preliminarily I can give a solid commentary. We were received in a most professional manner and enjoyed a fantastic tour and introduction by Jill. The attention to detail in her presentation was greatly appreciated. The complex is magnificent! I had occasion to talk in passing with 4 staff members, each of whom had the same attitude as Jill and represented Antrim perfectly. If the event we're planning goes as promised, it will be stellar. If how we were treated on our visit was any predictor of the outcome, they'll need a sixth star on these review pages when the time comes! As a side note, my wife and I will be heading there for dinner very soon as well.

We chose Antrim 1844 for our wedding because of the gorgeous backdrop, great food, and down-to-earth staff at the smokehouse restaurant. We had the pleasure of working with Jill throughout the process. She was attentive, responsive, and answered all our questions. We are still in awe of how perfect our wedding went. Jill and her team were on top of everything from the beginning to the end. Everything was set up the way we wanted. Everyone we talked to mentioned how smooth everything went even with the rain and they all had so much fun at the wedding. It was truly one of the best days of our lives and we are so glad Jill, her team at Antrim 1844 made it so easy for us.

Anyone looking for a high-end getaway with excellent service and food that you will talk about for a long time... this is the perfect place to come. The rooms could probably be a little less expensive. Stayed in the cottage, which was incredibly quaint. The shower was difficult to navigate. The Jacuzzi tub is very nice but definitely on the small side. Seems to be built for one, but who comes to a place like this by themselves? Probably couldn't get a bigger tub in there with the size of the room. The landscaping is beautiful and impeccable. The pool is very private and secluded. We loved playing croquet and horseshoes. If you like wine I definitely recommend a five course pairing. The only negative. Is it seems the website was built in 1990? Doesn't have all of the information you should have. Bring your own towel for the pool and come early for afternoon tea 2-4pm. You probably will not leave spending less than $700 for a couple for one night, including dinner and wine pairings. A lot of money. Must be worth it because that was my fifth time there.

I cannot say enough about our experience. We were married at Antrim this past Friday 4/28. We had our rehearsal and rehearsal dinner there on Thursday night and many of our guests stayed on the property both nights. The property is beautiful, the staff was incredible, and our guests were so happy. It rained on the day of our wedding and they seamlessly moved to plan B which was equally as beautiful. As the bride, I was taken special care of. There were always people checking in to see if I needed anything and there were so many special touches and details that they thought of. One of my favorites is when we came back to our room at the end of the night, there was a plate with 2 slices of our wedding cake (which we hadn’t had a chance to eat), chocolate covered strawberries, and then plate was decorated with flowers from our wedding. They also had a bottle of champagne and 2 glasses set out. They brought my bouquet back to the suite as well. All of these little details just made our experience so wonderful. I could give a million more examples of this kind of attention to detail. The weekend was perfect and I wish I could do it again and again! The bridal suite was absolutely beautiful and humongous! It was really fun to have all of my bridesmaids hanging out in there while we got ready. The bathroom is huge and there was plenty of room for our hair and makeup girls to set up. We booked all 40 rooms with guests from our wedding and everyone was so pleased with their rooms

I took Donna to the Antrim 1844 B&B in Taneytown, Maryland for her birthday in July 2022. We stayed at the Loft. Very nice and rustic setting. Many rooms to choose from here. The cozy tavern was nice with a wood burning fireplace. We were also here for Valentine's Day as well. The grounds are very well maintained and a joy to walk around. You will love this place. While in the sitting room of the restaurant, one of the guest played us a tune on their piano. When our table was ready, we were escorted to our private table and was given personalized menus. The food was exceptionally prepared and very good. You can dress up or do business Casual. There is even a crows nest in the main building. 360 degree view of the grounds!!

This past weekend, my now fiancé proposed to me in a surprise dinner & overnight stay at Antrim 1844! We were in awe of the beautiful garden and were thoroughly impressed by the dinner at the Smokehouse restaurant. My fiancé had visited the venue earlier in the week to meet with Katie and actually customized my food menu to include my favorite items! We stayed in the Grant Suite and were welcomed with champagne, chocolates, and chocolate covered strawberries. It was very romantic and charming. We are so fortunate to have had one of the happiest days of our lives at Antrim 1844!

Kathy was so helpful tonight with booking my room for my cousins wedding. So excited to visit the venue in person!! With how wonderful Kathy is, I am certain the wedding will be absolutely amazing.
