Breakfast Menu "Antico Posto" Oak Brook

3.5 stars. Went for dinner the day before Labor Day and service was absolutely slow. The weather was beautiful during the day/night so made an assumption that a lot of staff called off since Supervisors/Managers were filling in. Once seated, we were served iced water, and warm bread and a nice parmesan giardiniera oil mix (pictured/video'd here). We then waited a good 10-minutes before any staff spoke one word to us. Flagged down a Manager who was apologetic and mentioned we would get free dessert, but we honestly were not looking for any freebies. Ordered our meal right away and within 15-minutes or so, both our drinks and meals arrived. Pictured here is one of their Homemade Pasta dishes, Cavatelli with Sausage. It was delicious. After our meals, a server nearby took over and offered us dessert but we kindly declined and asked for the check. The check was printed and the server let us know the drinks (an Old Fashioned and a bottle of SanPellegrino) were comp'd. Not looking for freebies but I guess the service was made right. Had high hopes since this is a Lettuce Entertain You restaurant. Hoping the next visit is a better experience.

Ahhhh-mazing Italian food! Authentic and tasty! The risotto of the day was one of the best risottos I’ve ever had in my life!!! Only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5: there were small bugs that kept flying around our table, one went into my water. The waitress replaced my water with a glass that must have been sitting somewhere because the ice was almost all melted, she didn’t seem to care. But you still must try this restaurant!

Amazing food, and even more incredible service! It is rare nowadays to have such attentive and kind service but they have found a way to do it here. We made a reservation and we’re running five minutes late, so I called to let them know in the host could not have been nicer. No threatening or attitude, just told us thank you for calling and they would hold our table. The food was delicious. I highly recommend the Caprese salad. Drinks were great (tho could’ve used a little less ice), and the service was better than most places I’ve been. Memo, Tracy and Anthony all contributed to us having a great experience, and we were grateful. Definitely will go back and highly recommend to anyone!

Really decent dinner. Service was good. Nice but busy atmosphere. Calamari was good. Brussel sprouts were meh. All dinners were average. Chocolate lava cake was a standout. Very clean. Prices were in line with the food.

Stellar Italian restaurant located within the Oakbrook Mall Complex. We came here because we had a couple Lettuce Entertainment gift cards to redeem and this was one of the restaurants that accepted it. What a fantastic meal - had the Old Fashioned and Garden Refresher for drinks, both were a slam dunk. The Grilled Calamari and Arugula Salad were great apps. For our mains we had the Sausage Pizza and the Pistachio Crusted Whitefish which were so good and filling. The dessert was the star- the italian creamsicle was out of this world. Fantastic vibe and service on a beautiful Saturday night. Will come again!

The wait was really long, almost 2 hours. We got a free appetizer as a result. Great experience though once we finally got to our table! Tracy was our main waitress, but our old friend and waiter from previous visit, Guillermo 😊, came by to check on us and both took really good care of us. ❤️ed everything fully and completely. 😊😋. Part of the Lettuce Entertain Enterprise,this cozy Italian cafe is located in the Oakbrook Center . Came on a Saturday night for our Anniversary. Made reservations for 530pm and were seated immediately. Reservations are highly recommended. This place was hopping! Tables are very close to each other and they turn them around fast. The waitress was very helpful in explaining their daily specials and menu items. Prices are on the higher end. My wife is Gluten Free so they had a special menu. You start with fresh Italian bread and olive oil with giardiniera. They offered to bring a slice of gluten free bread but it never came. Nice selection of wine..only about 4 beers offered and various cocktails. A glass of wine averages about 14.00 and we did wait for our drinks to be served. Started with the grilled calamari with garlic and chili flakes served over arugula . A little chewy in our opinion. My wife ordered the whitefish with mashed potatoes and spinach with a herb butter sauce. Very good portions and flavorful. She asked for the sauce on the side but it came with it already on the fish. Also ordered the cavatelli with sausage in an Arrabbiata sauce which was a little spicey but very good. Again large portions. We finished the night with their homemade Turtle Gelato which was creamy and delicious. Surprised they didn't do anything special for our Anniversary but maybe going on a busy Saturday night was our mistake. Very crowded and seemed rush but the food was very good. They also do not let you redeem award dollars on Saturdays! Will go to another Lettuce Entertain You restaurant in the future to use our points but probably not back to Antico Posto.

Thank you making this the best 80th birthday celebration for our family. The food, service, atmosphere, and staff were excellent. Especially Adam our server and now friend. Lindsay made sure every detail was met. All the staff were great.
