This is definitely one of downtown Rosenberg's gems. You're definitely transported back in time with the decor, ambiance, and home cooking. We had a large group and the staff was quick and attentive. The food is good but the portions are kind of small. Their drinks are pricey but that's the price you pay for handcrafted drinks.

We recently dined here to grab some dessert after a long time. The sundae was delicious and the service was good too! Nice place in the heart of old Rosenberg! Highly recommend!!

When in Rosenberg, Texas, you will likely spend most of your time in the charming downtown area, visiting antique shops and museums. You are certain to get hungry and thirsty at some point and when you do, there is a place within walking distance, ready to appeal to your sense of nostalgia. It’s Another Time Soda Fountain and Café. True to its name, Another Time Soda Fountain and Café transports you back in time, to an era when soda fountains and malt shops were commonplace. The atmosphere reflects this, with pictures and signage from days gone by, decorating the walls. The memories continue with the food and drink, with a special emphasis on soda fountain drinks, ice cream treats, shakes, and the like. The food served here emphasizes sandwiches, burgers, and salads. On my last visit, I went with the patty melt and fries while my youngster choose the grilled cheese and fries. They did a fine job on the sandwiches, both of which were substantial in size, too. The accompanying fries weren’t too bad, but the sandwiches were the standouts. Even if you’re not terribly hungry and don’t want a sandwich or burger, Another Time Soda Fountain and Café is worth visiting to get ice cream or a shake. The ice cream sundaes, banana split, and other items are easily worth your time. Oh, and for beverages, you can’t go wrong with a glass of fresh squeezed lemonade, limeade, or one of the fruity phosphate soft drinks, if that’s your pleasure. It’s fun to step back in time when you dine. Another Time Soda Fountain and Café does exactly that, taking you back to a different era. The food and drink, and service, easily meet or exceed expectations and other than the possibility of having to wait for a table, this is a place you don’t want to miss in downtown Rosenberg.

I ordered the cheesesteak sandwich. What I got was not what I was expecting. The sandwich was very small and hardly had any meat on it. The fries were cold. For $12.50, I was still hungry and sadly disappointed. I love the atmosphere of Soda Fountain and downtown. Waitress and staff were great. Shakes and desserts were refreshing and good.

We were in Rosenberg from Dallas to take our son to the train museum, and crossed the street to have lunch at the soda fountain before heading back home. We were so pleased with the food, the ice cream and the shakes! Everything was great, the atmosphere was super cute (your typical step-back-in-time cafe), but honestly the best part of visiting was the attention of our waitress Karly. She was extremely attentive and nice, very timely with our order, and always triple checking if there was anything extra she could do to make our experience better. She’s a gem, thank you Karly!

Wonderful step back in time to a slower pace & simple food. Blue Plate Specials are available daily. Finish off your burger or steak fingers with a malt or a butterscotch sundae. Perfect location in old Rosenberg across from the Railroad Museum. Love it!

Nice shakes. Ice cream sodas was delicious. Burgers aren’t to bad. Loved the old fashion atmosphere mix with old country Texas style. Nice place to visit. 👌🏻

First time here with the family. We had a blast! The hostess was super nice as we walked in and our server was amazing. She was on her A game! The food was good and fast! We came in on a Sunday, which they were somewhat busy. We ordered 1 scoop for the kids and that was plenty. I wasn't expecting the scoop to be that big! My husband and I shared the banana split.
