Got a chicken salad sandwich. It was incredible and the bread was so fresh and soft. Customer service was excellent and my food came out super quickly.

Best Italian sandwich ever! $18 for Maine Lobster roll is very reasonable as well. This is a food truck with an ocean view. Doesn't get much better than this

It's ok. Not much meat but it was pretty good. I had to go back in bc the mayo and mustard wasn't on it. My friend wolfed his down humming. Lol it was pretty good. I wish there was seating. Supposed have been the Italian sub. But I only had one slice of meat. Hope it was just an error. Lol

Ordered two pasta dishes. One with sausage and one with sausage and meatballs both with an order of garlic bread. Got back to our cabin to find one pasta dish had just pasta and sauce. No sausage. Other came with sausage no meatballs. Neither of us got the garlic bread we ordered.

It pains me to give this place a low rating. We are big fans of Amato’s but usually eat at the Portland India St location, and have always loved it. We’ve always been impressed with the quality of the food and fast and friendly service, but at this location we had a different experience. The staff seemed to be all over the place — in our time waiting for our food we saw them repeatedly get the orders wrong for many customers. We ordered a buffalo chicken sandwich and instead got buffao chicken tenders. They apologized and corrected the order, but the original recipe wasn’t followed. The bread for the sandwich was falling apart, and there was barely any mayo. Additionally, this location doesn’t have a single table for customers to enjoy the food onsite, which is frustrating; they essentially only do takeout. I don’t know if I would return.

They were struggling to keep up. Very busy during lunch and lots of wasted labor standing around. If there are no hot foods being cooked, why not have the two on the hot line make cold sandwiches in between? Also, I'm pretty sure the double italian I ordered wasn't double this time.

After ordering online and getting a wait time of 30-35 mins. I went in at 30 mins. only to find my order hadn't been started. The workers beyond the counters looked dazed and confused and miserable. No one seemed to be in charge and no one seemed to know what was going on. Everyone looked like they hated their jobs. I then waited until 20 mins. before I asked again where my order was. At that point I was directed to the other side of the counter as the order was being wrapped up. The sandwiches were delicious but I won't be going back in as the atmosphere just seemed so depressed and unhappy and no one wanted to be doing the job. Looks like a sad place to work.

Ordered ahead during dinner hours. Showed up to pick up food and waited about 15 minutes past pick-up time before my food was brought to me. It's a small place, and I noticed that my order was pulled from the completed order area, so it had been ready all along. The sandwich was soggy, while other food was so-so by the time I got it home and waited so long at the store. I think it would have been better if fresh. One very helpful staff was working hard while others weren't up to much. This guy was manning the counter, putting orders together, pulling items from the oven. I felt bad for him, he was trying his best to hold it all together.
