The best meat market around!! Customer service is top notch! Everything you need in one stop and at great prices! My family has been going to Alwan`s for several generations now and will continue this tradition for generations to come. Remember, the deer processing is top notch also and fast, usually get my deer in 2 days!!! You can't beat Alwan & Sons for all your meat market needs. Simply the best!!! What a cool store! So many neat things to choose from and the meat choices are off the charts! Can't wait to try the hearty looking steak and chicken kabobs grilled this evening! We bought Brats too, but I don't eat Bratwurst. Taste reviews will be updated later. UPDATE: The food was absolutely amazing! So glad we tried out the kabobs! Will definitely be buying these again!

This review is to recognize Michelle. When I used to live up here, I regularly visited this place. I recently found a gift card that I lost/forgotten about over 2 yrs ago. I discovered it once I moved out of Peoria. Talked to Michelle about what my options were. She was just the most helpful person, honest and not at all operating on a money-stealing mindset. She's an asset to this place. I have friends and their friends who keep moving up there for work at the hospital. Will def recommend it! I have to add, when I saw my purchase delivered, the way FedEx handled it, I thought all was shattered. She made sure NOTHING could possibly happen it, not even FedEx' lousy handling.

In town visiting family and wanted to find a place for quality meat to enjoy a nice cookout for the holiday weekend. This is the place to shop for quality food in Peoria. Very clean, organized, excellent presentation, prices are solid and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. I'm so glad we found Alwan & Sons and will definitely be back! Highly recommend.

Great place to get top quality meat. They have a very good selection of others items. Basically come for the meat and find a bunch of other great items.

I recently ordered and picked up a sandwich tray for a lunch meeting at work. The service is impeccable. . .the staff is always so friendly and the gal who brought out the sandwich tray even carried it to my car! You rarely get that type of attention or service from any other place anymore. It's very refreshing and makes me like Alwan & Sons even more. The sandwiches were very delicious, by the way!

Stopped by there this morning for lunch at the outside grill they offer. I had been just across the street at the Southside Mission store purchasing some books. Upon exiting I spied the crowd of people across the street in line to purchase their lunch. The smoke bellowing from their large grill was just too much to resist. I'm rarely in this area during the week and said to myself, get on over and do some sampling. Glad I did. They offer several items from the grill, but it opted for the old standby pork chop sandwich. I wasn't disappointed at all. No fat or gristle on this chop. Super tender and tasty. The long line of customers stayed busy. Many business people eat here from the advertisements on their jackets and shirts. Very popular!! Has to be good or it wouldn't be so busy. I went inside after eating and they have a huge butcher shop along the walls. Also offer many types of homemade cheese spreads and dips. Lots of items you won't find any place else in the area. I'm going to hopefully make myself a pimento cheese spread grilled sandwich tonight. Homemade and it should rock.

Most amazing meat available in Peoria area. Butchers are so helpful and always friendly.
