This place is a classic. The same burgers and fries consistently through the last couple decades! The quality isn’t outstanding, but it’s also pretty cheap!! It is consistent though. Our burgers were good, mine is a double cheeseburger. Lettuce and tomato is an up charge. The fries were fresh too! It’s a unique fry, I haven’t had one like that before. Totally worth a stop!

If you’re looking for a diner here’s the place! Personally I wanted mac n cheese and I enjoyed it. They told me it was Stovers. It was soft and creamy my preference Came in a big group so was able to try the fries with cheese and burgers and grilled chicken and the fish sandwich. Everyone enjoyed it. Love the vinegar out for the fries Amazing prices

One of the workers who name is Eric was amazing. He helped me with my order told me the history about Al's. Eric made my experience amazing. Just like the fries

A classic. Al’s has been my go-to for a burger and a shake after hockey practice in town since I was a kid, so this place is full of good memories. As an adult, this is the place to go after a night at the bar or after a concert across the street. It’s an awesome place with awesome good. Definitely come to Al’s for a good time and good food.

Listen, is this the BEST burger joint option in town for the food? No, the food is just okay and always has been. This place rates five stars because it's Al's! When you need that late night double burger and fresh cut fries with canned gravy or cheese on this side, where vinegar is waiting on every table and everyone around you is also just glad to be there...you need Al's. Service is always great. There's plenty of seating and parking and the prices are still better than McDonald's.

Our Vermont-born friends took us to this location. It was a happening place at night. We ordered the fries, grilled cheese, and hot dog and of course, then went to the outside where you order the ice creams.

Fast and good food at good prices with great service and a neat atmosphere. The ice cream on the side of the building was a nice touch 👌

Been hear several times while showing friends and family around Burlington. The atmosphere is fun and welcoming, ordering was easy, but different from any other diner I've been too. Food is great! Nothing fancy, nothing crazy. Just good ol' fashioned burgers, dogs and fries. My wife and I both got cheeseburgers, medium drinks and split a medium fry: for a total of $20. You really can't beat that price! My only complaint is that the booths are not the most comfortable to sit in. I'm only there to eat my meal and leave, so it's not a huge issue, but I wanted to mention it.
