We really enjoyed our dinner here at Almaza. Service was fantastic and the food! Oh the food was delicious β not one thing left on our plates. We were so full that only one of us could handle dessert. The dessert was also good. The iced teas deserve an honorable mention because I could drink it all day. Definitely will be back!
Great place to try Lebanese food! Our server was so friendly and nice and walked us through the menu. The food is so flavorful. I will be coming back!
Have been wanting to visit this place since I moved to Getzville. Dropped in for a takeout. Their rotisserie chicken was well done and cooked over charcoal, and was really good. Service was really friendly. Really awesome and will be coming here with my family soon.
Great food, we ordered the mixed grill and it was deliciousssss and the amount was great for 2 people or maybe more if you wanna leave some room for π¨. The kefta was yummy, the spices were just right π
Been twice, this place is GREAT! Whole roasted chicken superb (garlic sauce exceptional)..Great selection of Lebanese sides & entrees. Baba terrific, ditto for cooked green beans, chopped Lebanese salad crunchy & well-dressed, fried terrific. Owner is very nice, warm & gracious. Bit of a haul from the city but worth the drive. Great to eat in or take out. Thank you!
Delicious food and cozy place! All of the food was so great. I left no crumbs on my plate π I would definitely try their Baklava cheesecake! Itβs the perfect amount of sweetness.
Great dinner the other night at Almaza Lebanese restaurant. Started with Pitas and the best garlic dip ever, alongside an order of Lebneh, which is yogurt with olive oil and zatar. Then we had a whole charcoal rotisserie chicken, grilled lamb plate, and for sides, hummus, tabouleh, basmati rice with almonds, loubie bzeit (green beans in tomatoes and garlic), and a cucumber yogurt salad. They are known for the chicken, and apparently on many evenings you need to order ahead to ensure you get one, but we were lucky enough to walk into one. Was super flavorful with this great mahogany colored caramelized skin that we fought over, and a great spicy green coriander( I think) sauce on the side. Lamb was delicious, and the green beans out of this world, although I have a soft spot for these. The hummus was heavy on Tahiti, just how I like it too, and the Tabouleh, lots of fresh parsley, as it should be, and a tangy sumac taste. We took home a couple orders of baklava for dessert. I couldn't touch them until morning, but was four different varieties in the container. All delicious, but the pistachio was my favorite. The menu, and I, encourage sharing, with several family size options. On the night we were there, a Saturday, it appeared that the owner was hosting, cook, and waiter, along with a helper, so be ready to relax, take your time, and enjoy your meal. Don't expect to rush. It is a small place, so reservations might be wise.
Phenomenal authentic Lebanese food. Tabouli, hummus, falafel, pita and grape leaves were by far all the best Iβve eaten since in many years. Absolutely will be back!
